"But why not," Tae whined.

Hobi sighed as his hand rubbed his face in annoyance, "you promised you would leave me alone if I walked you to your room. This is the exact opposite of leaving me alone."

"I promised I'd leave you alone last night, not forever. It's not my fault that you didn't hear me properly."

"I, you," Hobi looked at Seokjin, "is he always like this?"

"Sadly, yes. And I hate to break it to you, but he's not the type to quit."

"Just please try it," Tae begged, and he did not care in the slightest. "I got up so early to make this for you."

Hobi's head cocked to the side a bit, "you made this?" He pointed towards the spoon, still hovering in the air in Tae's hand.

"I did, just for you. Won't you please try it?" Tae was in full puppy dog pout mode, chipping away at the wall Hobi had managed to put up.

"If I eat this entire bowl, will you leave me alone for the rest of the day?" Tae sat up a bit straighter, "I know you won't allow it for longer than that, so I ask again. If I eat the entire thing, will you leave me alone until tomorrow?"

"I will," Tae smiled softly, but Jin knew that smile. He was plotting something. "I promise," the promise wouldn't matter; Hobi made a grave mistake regarding what he wanted from Tae. He said if I eat this bowl. He meant the porridge inside, but the way it was worded, he stated that he must also eat the bowl, which was quite impossible since he was a human.

"Then I shall eat it," he said, reaching for the spoon, but Tae pulled his hand back. "I cannot eat if you don't give me the spoon."

"Of course, you can," Tae scoffed as he made his way to Hobi's mouth with the spoon, "just say ahh."

Hobi backhanded the spoon, causing it to fly across the table, "I am not a child, Taehyung; I am perfectly capable of feeding myself. Now, let me do that so I can be rid of you for the day." It was harsh, but he had to be. While the King didn't mind men being together, the rest of the world did. So, nothing could ever come of it, even if he was interested in the goofy man before him.

The tears hurt his heart as Tae's lip wavered slightly. "I know you aren't a child, Hoseok; I'm just showing you the treatment you deserve." He wiped his tears away, his gaze no longer on Hobi. "This is how I prefer to be treated; I figured it would be best to show you." He sniffled a bit, "I'm sorry I upset you."

Fuck he is not making this easy, Hobi's eyes went to Tae's brothers hoping they could guide him on what to do. But they just looked at him like they were highly disappointed in him. Like he'd fucked up beyond belief, and he wasn't sure what to do other than cave to Taehyungs will. He just hoped he wouldn't lose himself in the meantime. "Do as you will, Taehyung, but our deal still stands."

Tae's head shot up, his boxy smile making Hobi's heart skip a beat. He's so doomed. Tae grabbed another spoon and scrambled into Hobi's lap. "What are you doing, Taehyung?" He yelled.

"You said to do as you will; I want to feed you like this."

He was pouting again, and keeping Tae at arm's length was getting more challenging by the second. "Taehyung, the King and Queen, will be here any second. It's inappropriate in front of your brothers and my uncharacteristically quiet friends. But add the King and Queen, and yeah, a no-no."

"Hee won't care. I promise, and if she doesn't care, I doubt Yoongi will say anything against it. Now open up," so that's how Hobi found his lap full of Taehyung while he ate the porridge he made.

"Did you cook this? Because it's perfect." Tae wouldn't look him in the eye; he avoided it on all counts. Hobi looked at his brother for help, yet they also avoided eye contact. "You told me you cooked this for me."
