The girls slept for about six and a half hours, so once they were up, Tae came and got everyone. Hobi and Joon brought food so they could eat while discussing what they knew. Yoongi apologized to them for what his father did and assured them that he had no part in it. Once he discovered what was going on, he actively started to fix it.
Hana told them about how they would bring babies in and the older girls would be expected to take care of them, that there was at least one girl that had given birth and had her baby taken away if it was male so they could be a wet nurse to the baby girls. She had raised most of the ones with her since they came to her when they were weaned.
"You've raised them? At such a young age?"
She looked at the King, feeling guilty for thinking he was evil. "Yes, I apparently have a mothering nature, so I get the troublemakers and make them better." She frowned. "There was nothing wrong with them to begin with. They are children, and they aren't meant to sit still all day, every day."
He turned to look at Yoongi, "What do we do now? We can't just keep them here; they must have families."
Yoongi agreed; he didn't mind them staying there, but their families must be missing them. "Miss, do any of you remember anything about your life before?"
Most of them were taken too young to even remember their surnames; Hana told them that so many houses held girls, just like the cave they found them in. But Lee keeps records of all the girls, where they came from, etc. If they can get their hand on that book, they might have a chance to reunite the families.
They left the girls after eating so they could rest more. They gathered a few rooms down, close enough that they could help but far enough to speak freely. "Tonight, we need to raid the tavern and get those books Tae and I saw. Maybe we can free those women as well."
Yoongi looked at Jimin; it was as good a place to start as any. Jungkook groaned and threw himself back on the ground. "Please tell me that I'm not going to be pretending to have sex with the Queen every day for the rest of my life. I want to have actual sex with my boyfriend," he pouted, so cute. King chuckled at the youngest antics, "No, you and Jimin can have tonight. No one would suspect the King of stealing from a tavern. But can you draw up more of those lovely posters?"
"Of course, I have ten of them made up in our room already." That excited Jungkook; he loved drawing so much. "Did you like them?"
"I did; it was a great idea. We'll leave them at each place we rob! Soon, the tales of the fox will go far, and people will rejoice in their hero, and our enemies will fear him."
So that night, with his fox mask donned on, Taehyung and Hobi were escorting him. Tae, since he'd already been there and knew where to look, and Hobi, because Taehyung threw a massive temper tantrum for Hobi to come as well. They were off, the tavern long closed for a few hours until the alcoholics need their breakfast ale.
It took about an hour to find anything worth finding, but they found the ledgers Taehyung told them about. As well as a few more letters that were, concerning and damning for a few heads of families. Then, they stole all the money from the safe; while Yoongi did not need money, they didn't deserve it. Sadly, none of the women were there, so they couldn't free them. But they left the fox picture on the office door so the owner would know what happened.
The next night, Joon and Jin broke into several of the heads' houses. Thankfully unseen, they raided their safes and purses, leaving their calling cards on the front door.
"My King," Hee whispered as she elbowed her husband a bit. His head dropped down, and a slight snore left his lips. "I apologize, my lords. It seems my husband is a bit exhausted. It would be best to end this meeting and let him rest."
