A few weeks had passed since our date and I was visiting Aizawa's class when he announced that they'd be going to the camp this year.
"Aizawa sensei," I saw Iida shoot up from his seat and start chopping the air as he spoke, "what are all the precautions the school is taking to make sure we're safe? After the U.S.J. attack, as class president, I'm worried for our safety."
I was so glad I was wearing my mask up because Iida always seemed to make me grin with his personality.
"Well," Aizawa sighed as he stood to walk around his seat and stand next to me, "We will be going with class 1-B to this camp and you will be training with the Wild, Wild Pussy Cats."
"I'm sorry what?" I nearly shouted I was so shocked.
Aizawa didn't jump, not even a little, and gave me a small secret smile, "You heard me."
"Do you have a nurse going? Any one medically trained?" I asked quickly, trying not to sound too obvious.
"Actually now that I think about it," he paused, trying not to laugh, "I don't think they did."
"That's very reckless of principle Nezu," I shook my head in fake annoyance, "looks like I'll just have to talk to him about assigning a nurse for the trip. Might even have to be me since I'm the most personable one with the hero course."
"Oh no I wouldn't want to bother you, you're probably busy," He waved dismissively, almost sounding sarcastic, but only I would know that, "I'm sure we'll be-."
"Aizawa Shota I'm going on the damn trip," I stated in exasperation, causing him to snort.
"Oop, she used his full name," I heard Mina call from the back of the class, causing some of the other students to giggle quietly.
"Enough, enough," Aizawa sighed lazily before resting against his desk, "Since Ms. Voodoo Doll is so insistent on joining, she will be our chaperone nurse."
A majority of the class cheered and it caught me off guard a little, "Oh."
Aizawa smiled at me again, mumbling, "They like you."
I blushed softly and was once again happy I wore my mask, "Hey, Ms. Voodoo Doll," Kirishima called, "you've known Aizawa Sensei since you were here right?"
I looked at him a little confused and nodded, "Yes, why?"
"Are his exams hard?" Kirishima and a few of the other students looked exasperated, "we want so desperately to pass so we can be apart of the camp."
I put a hand over my mouth as I laughed a little before sighing, "All I have to say is: good luck."
"Awe man!" A few of the students groaned, wilting in their seats.
"Shitty hair, you dumb ass," Bakugo yelled angrily from across the room, "if you studied better you wouldn't be so low on the roster."
"Oh yeah?" Kirishima called back, "Then why don't you tutor me?"
"You can study you're damn self."
Kirishima paused before sighing and looking away tiredly, "I guess it's too hard to tutor for you huh?"
"WHAT DID YOU SAY?" Bakugo jumped out of his seat, "Fuck you! I'm gonna tutor you and I'll be the best tutor you've ever fucking had!" I snorted as Aizawa started to reprimand Bakugo for cursing so much.
All of the students mingled talking about tutoring each other and I took that moment to chat with Shota personally, "Oh my god the fucking Pussy Cats?" I whispered yelled at him.
He chuckle softly and nodded, "I knew you would insist on going with us so I already told Nezu to add you to the list," he paused and then looked to see Bakugo threatening an all too excited Kirishima and let out a tired sigh, "Plus I don't know if I could handle a whole trip with these punks by myself."
I stifled a snort and nodded, before resting a gentle hand on his shoulder, "Thank you, really. You didn't have to"
He looked up at me seriously and shook his head, "What kind of partner would I be if I didn't do special things for you sometimes?"
I melted a little, "O-oh, I mean, I—" I didn't know how to respond.
"Hey," he patted my hand and brought me back to earth, "It was seriously no problem, you're more than qualified to go on this trip with us and these," he glanced in their direction and lowered his voice for a second "lovable idiots are more than likely gonna need a good nurse. Nezu was far from against it."
I blushed and nodded, shutting my mouth as I realized it had been hanging open, "I love you."
His soft smile was covered by the scarf wrapped around his neck, "I love you too."
"Hey, Mr. Aizawa," Mina called, "what are you and Ms. Akahanna talking about?"
He looked over at her with the same tired, reluctant, look he'd first given Toya years ago, "That's to stay between me and Ms. Akahanna, stop being so nosey."
I heard soft snickers as I straightened up shyly, my ears burning as I fidgeted with my hair, I wasn't used to being the center of attention.
"They're laughing at you."
I inhaled sharply as my eyes grew wide, "Oh no."
Aizawa looked up at me concerned but I couldn't speak anymore, he spoke to me softly, "Hotaru are you ok?"
"He's too good for you. Getting you a spot so you can see the Pussy Cats, taking you on dates, kissing your scars? He's too fucking good for someone who made him wait 5 years while you 'found yourself'," She snarled, "What a waste of a fine man."
I whimpered and ran out of the classroom, not responding to any of the voices calling after me.
