I paced as recovery girl worked on him, I felt like screaming and crying because of how he looked. I was watching them with worried eyes as I looked over his injuries; a broken cheek bone, arm, and rib. His face had gotten the worse of it and it made me worry more because of his quirk. Would it ruin his eyesight? Would he have to quit teaching? What if he went blind like mom and Ankoku? I got so nervous I pulled my mask down and started chewing at the skin around my nails until they bled.
"Get them on cots stat, we need nurses keeping an eye on them. It's All Might, so no other students allowed unless told otherwise," one of the nurses ordered as a group barged in with two people on rollers. One was All Might which all of the nurses had been informed of his state so we were trusted, and a young boy with green hair.
"Akahana, please watch over Aizawa as I take care of young Midoriya and All Might. It will take a bit longer on them, and I've already done all I can for now with Eraser Head." Recovery Girl stated as she opened the curtain.
"Yes ma'am," I replied, stepping past her to stand next to his bed. She shut the curtain and I looked back to him, pulling up a chair to sit. I examined everything and found it all healing slowly but surely. His face was covered in an gauze wrap so I checked around his eyes and could tell that he over used his quirk.
"I don't know what happened," I whispered as I put a hand on his, "but don't ever scare me like that again."
"I can't promise anything," it was a soft hoarse whisper, but I heard it.
"Sho," I sighed, "don't speak. You have fractured ribs and your face was messed up pretty bad. Recovery girl fixed you up, but you're still healing," I squeezed his hand gently, "Rest."
"I can't stay here forever," he replied.
I frowned at him, "No, but you will stay here until you are better."
He let out a small huff, but stayed quiet. I got up to let him rest, but his hand squeezed mine so I looked back down at him, "I need to talk to you later."
I nodded, "Alright, I'll be back here after the school day is done if you aren't in the hospital first."
I walked around the nurses office helping Recovery Girl with All Might and Midoriya. All Might was in bad shape, but the kid had two broken legs, "What did he do to break his legs like that?" I inquired as Recovery Girl finished up with him.
"He can't control his quirk," she sighed, "it's too much power for his small body."
I looked back over to the boy as he laid motionless on his cot. He was a small kid, but what kind of quirk manifests into someone's body and completely destroys it in one use. It didn't make sense, but I didn't question it out loud. I looked over at Aizawa's area to check up on him and sighed; I wished I had Recovery Girl's quirk.
"Aizawa will be ok," she looked up at me with a soft smile and I blushed, "he just needs to go to the hospital for further healing and recovery."
"I-I know he'll be ok," I tiredly pushed some hair behind my ear, "I'm just worried about him."
She chuckled, "We all worry for loved ones."
I looked down at her as my blush got worse, "Is it that obvious?"
"He was the first person you brought to the office," she patted my arm, "and don't forget I was here when you were in school." She winked at me and I wanted to fall out.
"O-Oh," I scratched the back of my neck, "right."
There was a broken groan from the cot next to Midoriya's, "Chiyo," We both turned to see All Might looking at us.
"Voodoo Doll," Recovery Girl stated, turning me towards Aizawa's area, "go check on Aizawa again, I need to have a talk with All Might."
I complied and walked over to Aizawa, shutting the curtain behind me, "Hotaru," Aizawa mumbled and I got closer so I could hear him, "Could you please get me some water?"
I nodded, "Of course," I grabbed the pitcher of water from the stand next to his cot and filled an empty cup, "I'll have to hold it for you to drink with a straw. Warning, I'll have to lift the upper half of the cot so you can drink."
"Ok," he sighed and I frowned a little as I grabbed the remote to sit him up. He let out a soft grunt as the bed moved, but he seemed fine once it stopped. I reached over and pulled the gauze down so I could see his mouth, then took the cup and stuck a straw in it.
I held it up to his mouth for him to drink, "Can you tell me about what happened?"
After he finished I set the cup down, "Well I got beat up pretty good by the so-called leader's pet. The thing was huge, bigger than All Might's hero form, and strong like him too. I didn't stand a chance." He sighed.
I frowned, taking his hand, "But you tried your damnedest; that's what matters."
He frowned a little and squeezed my hand back, "Kids almost got killed today."
"They're some extraordinary students from what I heard," I stated, taking a seat on the edge of the bed and putting his hand on my lap, "especially Midoriya and Iida from what I saw."
"You met Iida?" He inquired, intertwining our fingers.
I smiled a little and nodded, "I was the first person he found when sent to get help. I directed him to find teachers, then he took me straight to you."
"Straight to me?"
"Yup," I nodded a little, "We were the first people back on the scene. When I found you, you were on a student's back passed out. You looked rough as hell, Sho."
"Ah," he paused, squeezing my hand, "I just remembered I needed to talk to you."
I turned my head to look at him directly, "Yes?"
He seemed hesitant, "I wish these bandages weren't covering my eyes."
I giggled a little and let my free hand reach up and push the bandage up enough to see the irises of his eyes, "That better?"
"Yes," he sounded very nervous and I raised an eyebrow.
"Are you ok?" I brushed some hair behind his ear.
"I love you."
