My stomach was in a huge knot once I saw Maddy's face. I honestly thought she might've never found out about Nate and I hanging out. Which I now realize was totally stupid of me. But yet I was still super excited! I've never done something so thrilling! Usually, if I think something I do will make someone else mad or upset, then I avoid doing it. But for once in my life, I was just doing it anyway!!!

"So are you going to tell me where we're going?" I ask him.

"We're going to your house," he says.

What does he mean we're going to my house? Why would he ask to hang out just to go over to my house? He could have just said, "Hey, can I come over later?" Like, I don't understand. But I didn't say anything because I didn't want to be rude.

"Oh... okay," I say trying my best not to sound disappointed.

"Don't worry we're only going to be there for a little bit," Nate says.

"Why?"

"Because you're going to need to change," he tells me.

Okay, now I'm intrigued.

"Why do we have to change?" I ask excitedly.

"Because we're going to go to see a ballet," he says smiling.

Oh my God, that's so thoughtful of him! He knows how much I love ballet!

"Really?! What ballet is it?" I exclaim.

"Beauty and the Beast," he answers.

"That's literally my favorite ballet ever!" I say.

"Well I'm glad you're happy about it," he says with a smile.

"Wait... how did you get tickets so last minute?" I ask him.

"I didn't. I bought them a few days ago," he answers.

"But how did you know I would come?" I question.

"I don't know, I just had a feeling I guess," he says.

Well, I'm glad someone is so sure about the decisions I'll make because I never am.

"When are you going to change?" I ask.

"I brought clothes that I can change into at your house," he says.

"Oh... I guess you really had everything all planned out," I say.

"Yep."

A minute later we pull into my driveway and the security guard opens the gate for us. I hop out of his truck and unlock the door to the front entrance with Nate and I see Cecilia cooking up some sort of a snack in the kitchen.

"Oh hi, Sabrina! I didn't know you were bringing a guest over or else I would have made enough for two," she says.

"Oh, it's fine. We're not staying long anyways. We just came home to change. Besides he can have mine if he wants. I'm not very hungry," I say.

"Of course your not," she mutters disappointedly.

Nate gives me a weird look, confused about what Cecilia meant by that. I just shrug my shoulders, even though I know full well what she meant by it.

"You can come up to my room because it might take me a while to pick out something to wear," I tell him.

"Okay"

I tell Nate he can go in the downstairs bathroom to change, and I go upstairs to my bedroom to get ready.

I walk into my closet area and look around for something to wear. I try not to take too long picking something out because I don't want to be one of those girls that takes a million years to get ready. But I still want to look cute.
