Chapter 4 The Party 2

I was invited to a party on Friday night. I'm going shopping after work to get clothes. Jazz and Minnie and Jai are coming to the mall and party with me. The good part is I went from having 1 friend to having 5 friends. Jazz, Minnie, Rickey, Shadow, and Jai. Hopefully my life is finally turning around. After living in NYC for 5 years I'm finally feeling like I'm living it.

Minnie, Jai, Jazz and I are getting ready for the party. The theme is animal print or anything with a nature pattern.

I'm wearing a purple and black zebra print shirt and a black ruffled tutu that is sown onto the shirt. My makeup is a silver and black smokey eye with black eyeliner. My lips are pink and my nails are the pattern on my shirt/dress. Lastly my hair is straight and parted in the middle.

Minnie is wearing a leopard print tight dress. Her eye makeup is leopard print too. Her lips are red and her hair is banana curled.

Jazz is wearing a dress with tiger stripes on. The dress twirls when she spins. Her eye makeup is orange and her eyeliner goes into tiger stripes on her face. Her lips are red and her hair is wavy with a orange sparkly headband with cat ears and her bangs are on the left side of her face.

Lastly Jai is snazzy as ever with is white button up shirt and a flamingo pink shirt vest over and a flamingo pink hat. His pants are tanish and his shoes are dressing pink dress shoes. Lol, I know what you are thinking by now. Yes Jai is gay.

I wake up and I am in my apartment. Jazz is in her room Minnie is on the couch and Jai isn't with us. All I remember from the party last night was when we arrived there were cops at the house. I don't know what happened and why the cops were there. The cops didn't charge us or anything. They just nicely told us to go home.

Since we didn't have a party to go too Jazz, Minnie and I got some beer and Jai went home, put on some pjs as watched movies with popcorn in our laps.

Kevin (the one who threw the party) called us from the police station. He was saying he needed us to bail him out of jail. He said someone brought illegal drugs and alcohol to the party and someone went to the police station and ratted them out.

We didn't know what to do. We actually lost interest and respect for Kevin because he obviously was the one who had them.

First of all this was the third time this happened. Second of all every time they got a warning from the cops it was His party. And third of all he is the one they arrested. My bosses wife is a cop and his wife is the most honest person in the world. So I believe that the police is mostly right the majority of the time. Not all of the time but mostly.

Minnie, Jazz, Jai and I all go to Starbucks. Jai and I clock in take their orders bring them their drinks and go back to work. Minnie is off today but she stayed to help.

I took care of Rickey and then the weirdest thing happened. I was pouring Rickey his second cup of coffee and talking to him at the same time, (He was making me laugh.) All of a sudden Shadow walked into Starbucks. He sat down and just started looking at the menu.

( Starbucks doesn't usually do a sit down cafe but we turned it into one sort of.) I walked over to him told it was a surprise to see him here and all he said was, "I needed to get out for once." of course he had his hood on and still was just a mysterious but he decided to get out of the apartment and the place he chose to eat at was my job.

It was sorta cute. I took a break and ate my lunch with him. Jai and Minnie were kind as ever and served us. We laughed and he actually talked about himself. Maybe he isn't what I thought he was. The thing was, Tomorrow I'm going to Shadow's place.
