*A few months passed*
"I made you a sandwich babe" Sean comes in my room.
"Thank you baby." I've been in bed rest. I'm due so soon I need to stay in bed. Starbucks gave me off for maternity leave.
My stomach is huge. The size of 2 watermelons probably. Sean hasn't left my side which I kind of appreciate. I haven't been the easiest to deal with.
So I eat the sand which and I'm almost done with it when I get an excruciating pain in my stomach. I drop the sandwich and put my hands on my sides.
"Aubrey are you ok" Sean is next to me worried in a instant.
"Yea. Just a really hurtful cramp. I think it went away-- ow!"
"Baby. Your bed is wet."
"Oh my. Am I done?"
"Not quite. I'll call an ambulance"
Sean calls an ambulance and they come. They put me in and Sean comes with me. The ride there was horrible. I hurt so much.
"Sean it hurts" I whine as they wheel me into the birth room.
"I know Aubrey. I know. Just. Um. Hold my hand" I did. He looked nervous. He looked excited. He looked scared.
"You'll be a great dad, Sean. Don't be worried. Plea-- ow!" I breathe in and out.
"I know. Baby. I'm just nervous about it. I'm new to it all. But don't worry, I can do it. But don't worry about me. Focus on you."
"Okay" I nod. "Ow!"
"The contractions are closer apart now we should bring her in" a nurse informs.
They wheel my bed into a private birth room and the doctor comes in.
"Okay miss. We know what to do. Just squeeze the father's hand and listen to what I say. Ok?"
"Ok" I squeeze Sean's hand as it hurts.
"Thank you miss. I'm Dr.Joe Lisft. Miss. I'm going to have you breathe in through your mouth and out gently with your nose."
I do so and he nods I'm approval.
"Good. Miss. Push. Please"

After what felt like hours of pushing and breathing. And crying and holding Sean's hand I see her.
"Miss. Sir. I'd like you to meet your baby girl."
He hands the baby in a towel to me and I can't help but cry.
"She's so pretty." I let out a soft cry.
"She is. I'm so proud of you Aubrey."
"It hurt like hełł." We both laugh.
"You still did it."
"We did it" I correct him. He smiles.
"You can't go home and neither can the baby. She stays in the baby room for a while and you can see her every morning. The doctor said you must stay over a few nights before leaving."
"Ok." I nod. "It's better that way. I think that baby made me horny as ever. And I'm in too much pain for that. So this'll hell control myself from jumping down your pants." He laughs.
"Ashley" he states.
"What?"
"The baby." He looks at me. "She looks like an Ashley, aey for Aubrey and shl for Sean."
"I love it." Then his lips meet mine. I didn't realize how long it's been since we've been this close. I knew I loved him. But I forgot how much. "I love you" I whisper.
"I love you so much" he adds. I smile.
"I'm tired."
"Okay sleep. I'll bring in Dr. Lisft."
Dr.Lisft comes in and takes Ashley. Sean leaves and comes back with a blanket and pillow and a change of clothes for both of us. Then he sets up on a chair before the nurse lets him use the other bed. And we both fall asleep.
I'm a mom. I'm the mother to Sean's baby. Sean's a dad. He's the father of my baby.
We're a family. I have a family.
