Just the Beginning...

*glass shattering* Great, there he goes again. My dad is drunk and throwing things at my mom again, while I hide in my room. Today he got pissed because my mom left the house to do laundry. He has always been this way, neither of us are allowed to leave the house. If we do leave and he finds out, then I will have to bare all punishments for both my mom and I.
"LEAVE, GO ON, LEAVE, YOU WANT TO SO DAMN BAD!" yelled my drunk ass father.

"But-" was all I heard my mother say before I heard a loud crash downstairs. I quickly sprint down the stairs to see that my father has knocked my mother unconscious...

"WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU DO YOU BASTARD!!!" I yell at him. I fucked up, no one talks to him like that. Im lucky if I just end up like my mom.

"THE FUCK DID YOU JUST SAY?" "COME HERE YOU BITCH" he yells as I quickly run back to my room. I locked the door and moved my desk in front of it. I quickly grabbed a bag and shoved clothes in it, I had less than a minute to get out.

"Open up the door you slut.." my father slurred. "I just wanna say I'm sorry..." he said in a seductive tone. "I RATHER ROT IN HELL THAN OPEN THE DOOR." I had to think fast, I look towards the window and open it.
"This is gonna hurt..." I whisper to myself as I jumped. Luckily the ground was soft from all the rain. I turn around and take one last look towards my house, because I wont be back.

As I walked, I thought about where I would head to. I know no one in Tennessee i can stay with, so I walk to the nearest train station and look at the stops it will make. There's a train leaving for Tulsa Oklahoma in 5 minutes. With the time I had, knowing my dad will look for me, I buy the ticket.

I get on the train and take my seat. Luckily I grabbed just enough money for a ticket and some food in the morning. I rest my head on the window and close my eyes. I drifted off into a dark sleep. "Last stop, Tulsa Oklahoma." The conductor said on the speaker. I wake up, grab my things and get off the train, thanking the assistants on my way off. The air here seemed different, it was quiet and dry. It was 2 am and all I could think about was where I would stay for the night. I walked past a bunch of rail roads, mustangs, empty beer bottles. I wondered around looking at the bright stars, while looking for any place clean enough to rest until daybreak. In the distance I see a couple of houses and an empty space with a broken couch, "I guess this will have to do" I sighed and put my things down. I curl up on the couch and try to sleep.

"Why would you look at this beaute...."
