Sayra felt utterly lost as she untangled the knot of her long hair with a wooden comb. Her beautiful eyes had dimmed a little since last night, She was clearly bothered after her encounter with a specific grey eyed man. Why had he came so close to her last night if he didn't want to accept her as his wife. His action from last made her confused about his intentions and kept repeating in her mind. She was feeling as if he is watching her with his intense eyes even now. It felt wrong to think about him but what can she do, his touch, his gaze kept her awake most of the night yesterday. She didn't want to admit it but his touch felt surreal, it felt like he was touching her soul. Sighing softly, she left her hair open to air dry them and sat on the chair beside the window of her room. The weather was gloomy today just like her mood with grey clouds surrounding the otherwise blue sky.
Sayra felt weary about the way her body's reaction at his simple touch. She felt embarrassed to think about that what would happen if she hadn't come out of his bedroom, would he kissed her.
What are you even thinking Sayra, have some self respect. She chided herself. That man is a disease for her poor heart and she will try her level best to stay away from his dangerous persona.A clear of throat snapped her out of her thoughts as she eyed Soniya who sat on the opposite chair.
"Tum abhi tak niche nhi aayi isliye mumani ne mujhe bhej dia, wo khud aana chahti thin but mamu breakfast kar rhe hain isliye mai aa gyi. Sayra sab...... thik hai na. I mean tum disturbed lag rhi ho." She took her hand in hers and asked in concerned voice.
Sayra composed herself and smiled lightly at her concerned face. Her heart filled with warmth for her. Soniya's so different from phupho. That woman is too bitter.
"Mai thik hun wo.....bas raat ko aankh der se lagi. Neend nhi aa rhi thi isliye subah der se uthi." She replied smilingly but her eyes have a story of their own. Soniya felt something off about her behavior but didn't probe further. Soniya joked about one of her nosy classmate to lift her mood and it worked. Soniya's joke's made her laugh.
She really appreciated her way of lifting her mood. The two women giggled some more and for a while Sayra forgot all her problems. After chatting for sometime about random things the two friends came out from her bedroom.☆~☆~☆~☆
He lifted his head from the file for a second, hearing a soft knock.
"Sir aapko bade sir ne bulaya hai apne cabin me. After getting permission, his father's secretary told him hesitantly.
"Why?" Raising one of his thick eyebrow, he leaned against the leather chair after putting the documents he was reading before on the glass table opposite him. His steel gaze made him uncomfortable a little as he fumbled on the spot, however the grey eyed man turned his attention towards the file he was reading before, His face blank however felt a deep satisfaction in his heart, knowing well what his powerful personality do to people. After all he loves intimidating people.
"Iii.....don't know sir...." he said it's something important and he wants to talk about it with you.
Giving a curt nod to the nervous man, he told him to go in his usually stren voice. What did his father want from him now, why couldn't that man leave him for God's sake. He had already made him married to her even though he was reluctant, what he want more from him. He didn't know what to do anymore. It's not like he was against it but the situation where she was literally forced upon him is that the thing making him mad at his parents. Not only he was angry at them but he was more furious in himself because now he was feeling things he didn't want to. he had only married her for the land which her father possessed, where he wanted to build a resort, his dream project. he had no plan to accept her in his life and finish his bachelor hood, his freedom. But now he could feel his resolve broke with passing day and her living here in his house is also not helping him much.
