A few weeks  later....

Afreen begum walked to the guest bedroom where her only daughter in law was living these days. She pushed open the dimly lit room and her gaze went directly to the shaking figure of Sayra who was unaware of her entry.
She had been in this room all day today.

"Sayra bache, tum niche kyo nhi aayi? Hum sab wait kar rhe the tumhare liye par tum nhi aayi....isliye mai khana yahi le aayi. Khana kha lo beti." Afreen aunty said all the while caressing her long hair who was hiding her face in the pillow. Her silent sobs filling the otherwise quiet room.

"Mera bil.....bilkul dil nnn.....nhi chah rh..a aun.....ty." Her voice damp with sadness as she lifted her flushed face, soaked with tears. Sitting with the help of the bed crown She looked broken and completely shattered. Afreen aunt's heart broke, every time she looked at the broken girl in front of her who had recently lost her father, her only living relation had abandoned her.

"Chalo utho thora sa kha lo beta." She insisted but she shook her head, wiping her puffy eyes with her pale pink dupatta.

"Nhi aunty please" Sayra pleaded, her tears flowing freely on her flushed cheeks but she didn't bother herself to wipe them off.

"Aesa mat kro Sayra. Tumne Socha hai kabhi ki tumhe yun rota dekh kar Mansoor bhai ko kitni takleef hoti hogi. Kya wo kabhi aesa chaheinge ki unki jaan se pyari beti unki yaad me aansu bahaye. Agar kuch karna hi chahti ho apne aba ke liye toh unki magfirat ki dua kro." Her own eyes filled up but she blinked back her tears.

"Aunty........her voice, a sad melody.

" Aur mujhe toh aesa lagta hai ki shayad hum khayal nhi rakh pa rhe hain tumhara achi tarah se tabhi toh tumhare uncle bhi puch rhe the ki Sayra kyo nhi dikhti kahin bhi. Beta har waqt is kamre ki chaar diwari me qaid rahogi toh apne dukh ko bhul Kaise paogi." Afreen aunty held her hands on her own as she cut her midway. Sayra kept her head on her lap and lay down. Afreen aunty kept caressing her hair as she closed her eyes, feeling her motherly embrace. The girl was visibly shaken after her father's demise. Afreen begum was very upset because of her son's irresponsible behavior. He had abandoned this innocent girl without a second thought. Her husband is also very angry with Ibrahim. Her son had made her questioned her upbringing. he hadn't thought about his actions before running away.
Kahan ho Ibrahim? Kyon pareshan kar rhe ho hum sab ko? kyon kar rhe ho is masum larki ke sath aesa?
Tumhare dad bahot khafa hain tumse. pata nhi iss baar konsa toofan aayega jab tum apne dad ke samne aaoge?
She thought and released a tired sigh. She looked at Sayra as she slept peacefully like a small child making her lips curled up.

Securing her long hair in a high ponytail, Sayra applied a thin layer of eyeliner on her eyes and put some lip gloss on her pouty lips. She wore small silver earrings and putting her yellow khuss on her feet, she gave her look a thumbs up. She along with Inayat and Soniya were going for shopping today. She didn't want to go but Inayat and Soniya were adamant and finally she agreed after Afreen aunty scolded her.
Putting a small smile on her face she tried to hide her pain which was reflecting on her hazel eyes . Her abba didn't like her sad eyes, she will try to be happy because her abba always wanted to see her happy, after all he had married her to him so she wouldn't be left alone after he will be gone. As if he knew he would not survive. She blinked back her tears and hastily grabbed her sling bag from the bed when Sayra heard Inayat's frustrated voice.

Smiling sheepishly towards Inayat who narrowed her grey eyes much like his. her husband Ibrahim khan, the man she had met only once because after the nikah, he had disappeared. Sarfaraz uncle was also very upset with him along with his family members. He isn't going to accept her as his wife afterall a big businessman like him has his own standards, love is a far away thing right now. sighing dejectedly and
shaking her head from unnecessary thoughts, she hurriedly climbed down the stairs.
