(Kerem's POV)

In the early morning hours, I slept with her warm weight against my side, her hand upon my chest as if it was there to keep my heart guarded and safe. The simple act of sleeping had never felt so good. Beneath the covers where it was warm and quiet, we couldn’t stop touching each other. Nothing obvious, just small caresses. A stroke of a finger along a shoulder, a tickle down an arm, a brush of lips across a temple. Hande's arm snaked under my neck and wrapped around my shoulders, as she held me close enough that we shared the same air and our legs threaded together in a hot tangle. I didn’t want to move. I wanted to keep my hand where it rested upon her chest and feel her heart’s steady rhythm. I wanted rest. I felt like I’d been running forever, and I didn’t know why or from what.

"Günaydın aşkım" she whispered in my ears and turned a beautiful shade of pink at the term of endearment that had slipped out of her lips for the first time for me.

" Günaydın bebeğim.Did you sleep well?"

" Eveeett.Kerem?"

" Hmmm.."

" Did you enjoy last night...I mean our date. Did you like it?" She spoke in hushed tones, not wanting to rupture the fragile little world we’d cocooned ourselves in.

" Yes.."
Hande’s answering smile was one of lazy satisfaction yet she looked up at me with expectation in her eyes. My big, warm hand curled protectively around her neck as my thumb traced her jaw. “It was the best date ever.”
Slowly,I pulled her in. Her smile grew, even as I gave her an easy, butter-soft kiss. I hummed and did it again before easing back. “I finally got Hande Erçel to take me out on a date.”
" Dork " she snorted and snuggled close to my body.
"We need to eat breakfast."
" I can make something for us..in the kitchen. But I need some coffee first."

I nipped her upper lip, then her bottom one. “Or else you'll turn into raging beast without your morning coffee—”

“I wouldn’t say ‘raging beast’…” She paused with a grin and a blush. “Okay, fine, I’m a raging beast.”

“A cute one, though.” I kissed her once. Twice.
Her legs wrapped around my hips, drawing me in as she explored my neck with her soft lips. When she hit that spot, that damn spot that I felt down to my balls, I groaned. Her smile imprinted on my skin. “There is a small cafe down the street..,” she murmured, still busy with that spot.

"Olur,” I said, “let’s go get you some coffee.”

“We’re doing carry out,” Hande said against my shoulder. “I’m a freaking hair-catastrophe.”
