(Kerem's POV)

By the time we made it into the kitchen for breakfast the next morning, Dilara was already up and drinking a cup of coffee, a half-eaten bowl of cereal on the table in front of her. She smiled at us as we settled into the monotony of the day but when Hande reached into the cupboard to grab two mugs, Dilara mouthed to me, "We need to talk."
"Hey" she said, "remember the earrings I loaned you last week? The ones with the rubies in them? I've looked everywhere and can't find them. Would you mind checking to see if they're in your bedroom?"

As soon as Hande left the kitchen, Dilara reached for her phone and thrusted the screen in front of my face. "Şuna bak."

The page showed a picture of someome named Murat Akdoğan...and then another, slightly fuzzy picture of us kissing back in Sapanca that had raised the social media storm. The headline between the photos shouted: Kerem Bürsin Who?! Hande Erçel Is Reportedly Dating This RICH Businessman.

Later, strong romance rumors started circulating when Hande Erçel made a debut in Sen Çal Kapimi (You Knock On My Door) with co-star Kerem Bürsin.
Since the show aired in July last year, viewers, fans and the media are convinced that Hande and Kerem are romantically involved, despite their continuous statements that they are just friends.
Today, a new report has revealed that Hande Erçel is secretly dating another man.
Sources revealed that according to the rumors spread by word of mouth, Hande is dating businessman Murat Akdoğan.The new report added that Erçel is very careful to keep her relationship with Akdoğan a closely guarded secret, and the fact that she follows him on Instagram added more fuel on fire...

I didn't have to read the article anymore than what I'd read.
"I don't want Hande to see this. She'll freak out." Dilara said but both of us knew what a major understatement that was. "But if it's already in this news portal, that means every major entertainment show and blog is bound to pick up the story by this afternoon. I just don't know how we can keep her from seeing it."

A few weeks..a month of peace. I thought. Had that really been too much to ask?
Since that morning in Sapanca, it felt like we'd come a long way from the point but was it far enough for Hande to trust that we could get past this kind of crap.
Or would this headline, along with a picture of the two of us from the very first time we'd kissed in public, only confirm every single one of her fears about how hard it would be for us to shield our relationship from the media speculation?

"I know how much Hande cares about you," Dilara said as she put her hand on my arm in what I knew was supposed to be a reassuring manner. "I mean, she hates stuff like this, but you guys are so great together.You both will figure things out."

Hande walked into the kitchen with the earrings in her hand, saying, "çok üzgünüm Didi, I thought I gave them back to y - " when she looked between the two of us and frowned. "Ne oldu?What's wrong?"
