"So, why is she in here?" Max questions again.
"She cut her arm."
"That doesn't explain anything." Max deadpans.
"Henry." Matthew mutters, and that gets Max to close his mouth.
"Matthew here was just trying to help me out. I needed someone to stitch my arm up, and he offered to do it."
"I'm sure he did." Max says looking Matthew over before saying anything else, "Henry is looking for you. You might want to get back to your room before he finds you here."
Max moves out of the way so I could leave the room. I glance at Matthew seeing if he was going to say anything, but he doesn't. He only keeps his head down looking at the floor.
I push past both of them and do what Max told me. I knew that if I stayed and Henry found me in Matthew's room he would be pissed. I also knew that if he didn't find me waiting for him and his apology in my room that he would be pissed. No matter what I did I only had one option. Wait for Henry to get his head out of his ass in my room, and accept his pathetic excuse of an apology.
I didn't bother closing my door, I knew that I someone would come to my room shortly. Whether it would be my maids or Henry I did not know. But if I had to guess, I would guess Henry. My maids knew better than to get in the way. Everyone in the palace, save the queen herself has had to face the wrath of Henry. It wasn't a fun place to be. Even I have to admit that. No one wanted to be on the receiving end of Henrys wrath.
"If you aren't here to apologize I don't want to hear it." I tell him once he hovers in the door way. He looks at his feet before looking back up at me. "I mean it, if you aren't here to apologize than leave."
The moment my words leave my mouth, I smell him. Not Henry, but the ghost of a person that has been haunting me for days. Its as if he is right behind me, but I knew better than that. If he was indeed behind me Henry would have already tried to kill him, and I would most likely be dead. He might have shown me mercy the other night, but I doubt he is willing to show it to me again.
"I am sorry. I just- I don't know what made me do that to you earlier. I know its silly to assume you knew him. Its just something inside me told me that you did. I apologize, and hope you could forgive me." he looks up at me hopefully.
I have to force myself not to snort at that comment. I haven't even considered forgiving him for the last time, I certainly wont consider accepting his apology now. I cross my arms and glare at him, the defeated look on his face makes me smile on the inside.
"What if I told you that it would never happen again."
"How are you going to control that? You just told me that you don't know what made you drag me around the palace in the first place." I say throwing my hands up in the air.
I knew though. I knew who was in his head, and I knew that he wanted me to know I was being watched. Maybe not by him, but by someone else.
"I already have Matthew looking into it. So I promise you-"
"Maybe you should stop promising me things, and go get ready for our training session." I snap at him, he looks at me in shock that I told him off.
I let out a frustrated sigh when he makes no effort to move, I make my way to the door and slam it in his face. I run my hand down my face, frustrated that I had to have that conversation.

"Running and archery. Those are your categories." Henry tells me handing me a piece of paper, "However the group activities require fighting. So grab on of the guards, and lets see what you can do."
I shove the paper into my pocket, and glance around the room. The guards were on duty, all of them along the walls. Several of them were glancing at me with anticipation. While others looked like they'd rather die before fighting me. Max was a part of that group, I was tempted to choose Max, but thought better of it. No reason to draw attention to him, not after what happened.
Brown eyes locked with mine, and a smirk light up a face. I knew who I was going to fight.
I walked up to him, and he stared past me, not daring to break the rules with Henry paying attention to us now. I take my time pretending to look him over, he was strong, and by the uniform he has on he is one of the better fighters.
"This one." I say turning towards Henry. "I'll train with this one."
