He threw me around the ring again. When I picked Matthew as my training partner three days ago I never thought he would be such a perfect match for me. I picked myself up from the ring, and charged at him. This time I blocked him and got the upper hand.

We continued going back and forth until I won. It may have taken me more time than I thought it would, but that didn't matter. Matthew stuck by my side as we left the ring.

"Looks like you are improving in the ring Valerie." Henry says, trying to get me to talk to him.

I like I have been doing the past three days ignored him. I was pushing my luck with the silent treatment.

"Come on Valerie. This has gone on for far too long." He says once I turn to face him.

"Maybe." is all I say, and that gets him to smile. Which makes me groan on the inside.

"If you'll excuse us Henry, we should probably go get ourselves cleaned up." Matthew says placing his hand on my lower back, leading me out of the War Room.

He walks me back to my room. I give him a small smile of thanks before closing the door behind me. We had gotten comfortable with each other- or comfortable enough to walk the other to their room.

He was here again. I realized that once I closed my door. It doesn't surprise me anymore. I know one of my- his men now are in trouble. I know he needs me to go down to that cell and free him. I want to, but I am afraid that he will leave, besides the mess that would make with Henry.

"Freeing him is an impossible task. You should just leave me alone." I mutter, most likely to myself, but if he was able to hear me I wanted him to know.

She talked to me. She talked to me more than she would like to admit, and I know that she wants me around. Even though she tells me to leave. I watch her change out of her sweaty clothes and climb into the bath.

It hurts me being this close to her, yet so far away. I need to leave her alone, I need to let her live her life. But I tried that. I tried to do what she wanted and it almost killed me. I dont know how I managed to stay away for so long.

"Valarie. What are you doing down here?"

"Rescuing you." I mutter to Mrs. Cora.

I had let her rot in this cell for long enough, and Hnery wasnt trying to free her. He had given up on the idea of getting her out of here. She takes the cloak I hand her, and wraps it around her body.

"Elenore-"

"Elenore wont be bothering you anymore. Henry apparently told her to fuck off."

"Then why the hell am I still here?" she mutters, rubbing her wrists.

I would have to clean her wounds, they were starting to look infected. I was working on unlocking her ankles when I heard keys jingle in the distance. She locked eyes with me, as I closed the cell door before the guard walked by. He glanced into Mrs. Cora's cell.

"You still in here?" he asks.

"Yes I am Brandon." her voice weak, not as strong as it was when she was questioning me.

"I thought you would be out of here by now."

"Me too." She mutters, casting a glare in my direction as discreetly as she can.

"Let me know if I can do anything for you. I know its not lot, but at least its something right?" he says laughing the slightest bit.

"Thank you Brandon."

He looks into her cell for a moment before walking away. I wait until the sound of keys jingling and his light are gone. I didn't want my cover to be blown after coming so close to being noticed.

"You going to answer me now?" she questions.

"Elenore locked you up, and Henry didn't think to have her free you before hand. Because she was the one that locked you up they keep telling Henry he didn't have the power to set you free."

"That is complete and utter bullshit. Henry-"

"I know. I know he has all the power he needs to free you, he just doesn't care about freeing you."

"So how are you going to explain-"

"I'm not. You and your family are going to leave here, get far away from here. Look Zane is locked up in a cell down here. You have to listen to what he tells you. Don't talk to anyone but Zane understand?"

"Valarie." she states my name trying to clam me down.

"Henry captured Zane. For what reason I do not know. All I know is he is here. I am going to free you, and Zane and a few others in here making it look like a jail break. But before I do any of that I have to get Zane out of his cell. So you will wait here. I mean it you will wait in here, until I come back and let you out." I tell her grabbing her hands.

"What about-"

"They are your neighbors daughters, and your cousins daughters. You are moving to live more comfortably in the country side and provide them with a better life. You will only tell someone that tory when they question you, and they aren't listening to Zane. Do you understand?"

"What about Gavin? He wont leave the palace, he loves being a guard here."

"Then we don't ask him. You just leave him here if you know what his answer is going to be."

"Then you better go free Zane."
