After I left the cafeteria, I headed straight to my room to change into something a bit more comfortable. The next thing I set off to do was find Henry, which turned out to be a bit more challenging than I originally thought. I thought he would have gone to a translator- or maybe even to his trusty pal Matthew- but he didn't. He stayed in here, looking at the now crumpled paper in his hands, trying to figure out what it says, and how he is going to teach others how to read it. It really was a pathetic sight to behold, and if we weren't locked up underneath the palace grounds, I would have ended his pathetic life- but we are under the palace and no one to blame when they find the body. Everyone would have known it was me, or a version of me. It would have been difficult to not take the credit for such a glorious kill when questioned about it.

"I need to talk to you Henry. And no this can't wait while you figure out what the hell you are going to do about the guards you got rid of today." I say to the doorway of the bunker.

"I don't have anything to say to you." Is his only reply.

"Really? You don't have an apology for me? You do remember slapping me, right?"

"What I remember is walking in here to ask Max how his assignment was going and finding you in here helping him. I also remember receiving a disrespectful attitude from you, and that is not acceptable."

"I didn't realize that I couldn't speak up for someone."

"No, what you did was undermine my authority in front of them. So, I simply disciplined you in front of them." He doesn't even give me the decency to turn around and tell me this. He just keeps his back to me, and stares at that paper like it will fix all the world's problems.

"Okay then, if you think that is an acceptable response then there is no arguing with you. But I did come here to talk to you, and I will receive the respect I deserve, so turn around and face me." I wait for him to face me before I tell him what I came here to say, "You will put me in the competition as part of your team- and in return both Max and Gavin receive their jobs back."

"No. Not going to happen."

"I think it is."

"And I think you are a naive little girl who thinks she can walk around here and make demands. But let me tell you something, you don't have the power or authority to make such demands of anyone- let alone me."

"Tell me something. Do you treat everyone like this? Or just the girls you are supposed to be in a relationship with?"

"I don't know what you are talking about."

"I am talking about the fact that you have been an ass to me since yesterday after our argument. Is that what happens? You disagree and decide they need to be taught a lesson in respect? Well, let me tell you something that isn't going to fly with me. I am the King and Queens daughter, and I can tell anyone I want what the fuck to do, and I don't take orders from the likes of you. So, listen closely Henry Xander List. I am in the competition on your team, and Max and Gavin are in your ranks." I walk closer to him and lean in, so my face is only inches away from his, "How is that for ordering people around? Have fun telling them the news." I walk away then, I showed him a piece of my hand and it was worth it. They are my people, and they deserve to be treated better- not only that he is a tyrant that needs to be destroyed, and quickly.

Gavin and Max were where I left them earlier, only difference is the laughter bouncing off the wall. I walk straight to Max and Gavin without anyone ever turning an inch in my direction. I place my hand on the table in front of Max, and that's when the laughter in the room stops and all the attention is turned to me.

Max stares at me, his eyes asking the question he isn't going to ask out loud. What am I going to do? What is my next move? Am I going to act like a lost helpless princess? Or am I going to act like I belong here? I sit down answering his question, and just like that it seems as if the life returns back to the room. The conversations that were so abruptly stopped resume, and the air rushes back into my lungs.
