CATRINA
It's said that it gets worse before it gets better. In my case, it just getting worse and now it's worst.
I hate it, I hate the heat that's travelling down my body with every breath that I take. I hate that I have to scream and ask for help. Help comes but in the form of Lance who is currently doing a "routine check-up" on my body.
"You are doing fine, my pet," he coos at me and I shudder in disgust. He's the one responsible for this pain that I am suffering from.
"Please. Help me," I whimper when another wave of burning heat rolls inside my body. The movement on the inside of my skin is so frequent now that I don't panic when I see it.
The panic is now for some other reason, the reason being this rogue, Lance who's enjoying my pain. He's a sadist, who's been eyeing me from the moment he's stepped inside this room. He ordered to get the room cleaned after claiming that I won't be throwing up anymore.
"Just a little more and then we can see if your wolf really comes out," says Lance and then rubs his hands together. I shake my head as tears stream down my temples, the pain unbearable now when he just leans over me and looks into my eyes.
Suddenly he holds a flashlight over my eyes. The harsh light falls on my eyes and I scream as piercing sensation echoes through my head. My eyes water, this time not with tears but because of the burning that the flashlight causes.
"Hmm, your pupils are dilated. But they are still brown. No flecks of yellow or orange in it. Sorry, love, you'll have to drink up more of that serum," he says in a very clinical manner but all it does is terrorise me.
"No, please," I whimper shaking my head but this time he just holds my jaw open and pours the green liquid into my mouth. His hold over me is so strong that I have only two options, to swallow or to choke. The latter is against my survival instinct so involuntarily, I swallow down the liquid and succumb to the trauma that my body's going through.
Damn Lance!

"Catrina, moya sestra, wake up. We have to get out of here."
I blink my eyes, forcing them to open so that I can check for myself if I was hallucinating or if Cayden really was here.
As the frightening reality that I am all alone here, convulsing with the burning ache, sets in, all my hopes of getting out of here start dissipating.
All that's left now is a huge heap of ashes! Ashes of my hope.
I am delirious with the constant throbbing of my head and the blistering heat flowing through my body. The fluttering movement is more frequent like foreboding. Now, I have started having night vision as well. I know what it is, it's like the vision a wolf has.
Does it mean that I really have a wolf that is emerging now? The possibility frightens me and so I'm urging my mind to shut down. I don't know how much time has passed by but all I do is, let the pain flow through my body.
I am just tolerating all the pain, not even letting myself think about all the possibilities and consequences, just hoping that these painful waves pass and that the pain would reside.
As time passes, I know that it's just my wishful imagination, wanting the pain to go away because, in reality, there is another pain that's waiting to roll through my body.
Dreadfully, I acknowledge the throb now, it's minute but it's there and it's getting stronger with each passing beat. With every breath that I take and with every passing flutter under my skin, I feel the throbbing in my core increase. It's like something is unfurling in my womb. As if the walls on the inside of my womb are vibrating and getting ready for the onslaught of my hormones.
