Chapter 26

Couple Days Later....

The past couple days I was building my body up. I can feel my body getting stronger. And today, I wanted to walk around in where the normal citizens gather.

I didn't wear my uniform, I just wore normal clothing. A gray top with a dark purple skirt.

I didn't have any money, but I helped Levi do something and he gave me some tips. Using that money, which isn't much, I was able to buy an apple. I picked one that looks big and red, and heavy with juice.

I walked around, capturing all the details. And trying to see if I can remember anything. I saw a dog on the side of a building. I walked over to it, but it tried to bite me. Which got me startled.

"It's okay, uh...um, dog."

I'm not sure what to call it, and so I came up with such a lame name. But the dog was still wary of me.

"It's okay, come on."

"Woof woof arf!!!!"

"Okay, okay. I get it, I won't bother you no more."

I started to leave, but stopped when I heard a noise. It came from an alleyway. Silently, I tiptoe towards the alley. The noises became more clear.

"Why don't you just give it, old fart?"

"Yeah, come on."

(Laughter)

What's going on? I took a peek, avoiding to be seen. At first, I only caught a glimpse of a couple people, but I didn't see their face, yet. I peeked more, and surely, I now see a old man lying on the ground, trying to defend himself. Around him were a group of 5 young men, about close or around 20, I suppose.

I'm in the military, so I can defeat them. I silently crept up to them. When I'm in eyeshot, I quickly grabbed the closes guy to me. I had my arms around his neck. But he soon freed himself. I wasn't really trying to keep him there, anyway.

"L-Leave him alone or...or....or I'll uh, hurt you guys."

All the guys were staring at me. I can't believe I'm feeling shy. 

"S-So...are you going to...stop?"

(Laughter)

"Like hell we would."

"Are you an idiot? Think we're scared of ya? No way."

(Laughter)

The old man was staring at me, too. I'm not sure what to do, but I know that I'm definitely not leaving this old man behind.

"Then I'll make you," I told them.

They didn't take me seriously, and one of the guys walked towards me. He patted my shoulder.

"Come on, let's not be like that. Wanna come play with us?"

"No."

"Huh? What you say?"

I quickly swiped his hand off me, and punched him when I said,"No," again .

The atmosphere quickly changed, and now the guys have their guard on.

"What the hell of was that for, bitch?!"

He attempted to punch me back, but missed. Using that opportunity, I grabbed his and tried to flip him over. Ow, I hit my head against the wall of the building. I'm such an idiot. Of course it'd be impossible to do that in such a small space.

I rubbed my head, I swung too fast when I tried to flip him over. I even feel dizzy. I didn't even do much and I'm already in a wrap. The same guy had his friends hold me still. He now stood in front of me, snickering.

"I'll teach you not to mess with us."

He came close, puts his fingers on my chin, holding it up. I thought he was going to kiss me or seduce me.

Oh no, not in front of the person I was trying to save. It's already embarrassing enough that I couldn't save him, but now I have to be humiliated in front of him? No, so embarrassing.

"L-Let me go."

"Hahah, of course not."

My arms were binded so I have to use my legs, but my legs are also binded by the guys. The guy in front of me then let go of his hand.

"You thought I'm going to seduce you? Hahaha, no way. Don't think so highly of yourself. You should look in the mirror."

(Laughter)

"I wouldn't want to be seduced by you anyway."

"What you say?"

He came forward and gave me a punch. He did some more, and my nose bleeded. I started to feel dizzy, but then, the old man came and threw rocks at the guys.

The guys holding me let go a little and I quickly fought them. They were now on the ground and grabbed the guy in front of me and gave him a punch and a kick. He was on the ground, too, now.

"Listen, don't you guys ever pick on anyone again. Or I'll beat you up."

With that, I finally scared them away.

"Thank you, young lady."

"N-No problem, it's what I should do."

"How about I treat you to something?"

"It's fine, really."

"Okay then, but thank you so much. You saved me, I almost got my money taken."

"Your welcome. Just be more careful."

With that, I left. While walking, I realized that there's a rip on my skirt. But then I saw some steamed meat buns, they looked and smelled sooo good. I decided to buy something for Eren and Levi, using the remaining money I have left.

I holded the bag with the big fat mean bun. Heh. And I head back to the barracks.

Time Skip

"Levi, Eren, I got something for you guys. Meat bun!"

I took it out of the bag and ripped it in half. Wow, steam rose and I handed it to them.

"Is it good?"

Levi nodded and Eren said, yes. I realized that Levi was looking elsewhere and Eren looked back and forth, a little red faced.

I could feel a strange aura and asked,"What's wrong?"

Eren smiled and said,"I-It's nothing, (y/n)."

But then Levi replied,"Your skirt's ripped."

I looked down, and surely enough, there was a rip and my parts of my panties were visible. I covered it.

"I-I'm going to change."

I then came back in my military uniform.

"I'm back."

I smiled at them embarrassingly. I guess before, we were really close. Because I can get along so well with them, and the others, I feel uncomfortable and I just don't know what to say. So I have to get my memories back.
