Chapter 31

I heard a knock on my door. Without thinking, I just opened it like any normal person would, except, only when everything's normal. Well it's not like things are so out of order, it's just...I feel so out if order.

When I looked up to see who it was, it was..Levi. Immediately, I felt myself tense up.

"W-What are you doing here for?"

"See for yourself."

I looked around and then looked at him. In his hands and arms were a big box, filled with the stuff from earlier.

"Move it," Levi went past me, and set the box down,"You unpack this now, I'm leaving."

What, that's all? I felt myself dissapointed. Before Levi left, I called out to him.

"Captain,....can't you..help me unpack these?"

Levi stared at the box and then at me.

"Fine," he mouthed.

"Thanks," I said.

I walked over and began to pick up and organize the things. Levi was beside me, doing the same. Hesitantly, I took a quick glance at him. I jumped a little, Levi was staring at me. I ignored it, and continued to organize the stuff. The whole process was very awkward.

"C-Captain, umm...that isn't mine."

In Levi's hands, were the couple envelopes.

"What are you talking about, you wrote these."

"But I gave them to whoever I gave to. So it would belong to them."

Come to think if it, when I dropped the stuff, I first reached for the envelopes. Same with Eren and Levi.

"Wait, nevermind, I'm keeping these." And Levi handed me the envelopes.

"There are two missing, captain."

"The two are in my pockets, I'm keeping the one you wrote for me. And handing Eren his."

"Oh, okay."

I stared at Levi's chest for awhile, I didn't know what to say. But then Levi's hand reached towards me. His hand was on the side of my face. I felt myself fluttering, with nervousness.

Levi stared so intensely, at least it seems that way for me. But I seem to be wrong, because....

"There's some dirt on your face, don't move," Levi told me.

I felt Levi's fingers rub away the dirt that's said to be there. After that, Levi stepped away and just walked out the room. There was no dirt at all, I said in my head. I hadn't seen any. Wait, s-s-soo...that was on purpose. He did it on purpose. I felt myself freaking out before I keep myself in control.

I.....like him...? No no, that can't be, but this is all so weird. If this were a dream, I wanna wake up. I'm getting creeped out.

Okay, I slapped both my hands on my cheeks, trying to get myself out if it. Maybe I should go see gramps. And so....I went to see him.

Couple Minutes Later~~

"Gramps!"

I ran towards him, if I had a grandpa, he'll probably be like him. I don't know how, but we get along so well. Maybe because I remind him of his granddaughter, and him of my grandpa that I don't know of.

"Hahah. What brings you out today?"

"I wanted to see you."

"Yeah, you need to come out and walk around once in a while, (y/n)."
