Chapter 10

I'm so bored, I said that as I stared up at the clouds. I sighed and just stayed there for a while.

"Levi..." the sudden thought just appeared in my head. Maybe I should go apologize. I'm still embarrassed from that, gosh, what should I do? I'm not making any progress at all.

Maybe I should go talk with Petra, I need to build some friendships too. I can't afford myself to be alone, but there's Eren. *sighs* Eren, huh? Haven't talked with him much.

I wonder what everyone is doing right now. I got myself up and took a little walk down the hallway. I got it, I'll talk with Petra...nahhh......no I'll go after all.

I silently walked down the hallway, it was so quiet. What's everyone doing? Oh yeah, it's lunchtime now. Come to think of it, I haven't ate yet. *sighs* why does it have to be so quiet? It feels so lone some. After I reached the door and knocked, there was no response.

Weird, maybe she isn't in there. Oh yeah, it's lunchtime, I said again. Of course she wouldn't eat in her room. Petra's probably in the cafeteria eating with the others.

I was about to go to the cafeteria, but then I stopped myself. Of course for one reason, people.

I guess I'll stay in my room after all, but first I bought myself something small to eat. It was an onigiri. I sat on my bed and ate as I looked out the window.

Petra's POV

I stayed silent as I wait for the person to respond.

"It's Hanji," Hanji said as she walks into the room,"I came to see how you're doing."

"Is that so, then you may leave," Levi replied coldly.

"Come on, don't be like that," Hanji said and she then noticed me.

"Oh, isn't it Petra!" Hanji said, her eyes lighting up,"How you doing?"

Hanji continued,"Heheh, this guy here may give you lots of works. However, if there's any problems, you can always come to me, got it?"

"Got it," I answered with a little giggle.

"By the way squad leader Hanji, where'd you been lately," I asked.

"I've been coping with my precious Sawney and Bean's death!" Hanji said energetically,"I can't allow whoever did that to escape. They shall be punished!"

"O-oh,"I replied.

*sighs* beside me was Levi sighing. Levi looked annoyed and turned his back on Hanji. "Be quiet and let me rest,"he said.

Like that, we got quiet but Hanji kept getting loud and we were scolded for a few times. After that, I talked quietly, trying my best to keep Hanji's volume down.

End of Petra's POV

After I finished my onigiri, I stared into space, not feeling like doing a thing.

Few minutes later~

I heard Eren outside training himself with a couple others. I looked out to where they are. Some people weren't there, even the superiors aren't there.

"A nice quiet day, eh?" I said in my head as I rested my chin on the window ledge with my hands.

I decided to go out there and train with them, too.

As I went, I passed by Levi's office, not daring to check on him. I'm just too shy right now.

Finally, I'm outside as I ran towards Eren.

"Eren!" I shouted to him shyly. I'm not used to shouting a guy's name, yet.

Eren stopped and turned to my direction and he waved to me,"(y/n)!"
