"The World I Live In" Levi x Reader

Chapter 2

I'm now 16, I can't believe that in these two years I've only grew 1 inch. Now my height is "5,1"

I've never really been bothered with my height before. But I guess I don't want Levi to think I'm short. But there's still quite some time before I meet him again.

Now that I think about it, how tall is Levi?

What if he's alot taller than me? Then that'll be kinda embarrassing.

But depending on Levi's character, well the way I think his character is so far, he shouldn't care about it.

But how long will it take until I finally meet him again?

This is my first wanting to meet someone. To tell the truth, I don't like being around people, I don't know how to socialize with them. I also suck at making friends, that it took two whole years being with my roommates almost the whole time to finally become good friends.

If I want to meet Levi and be in his squad, then I need to become stronger, better, that's the only way to have a possibility to be selected by Levi.

My heart started to throb at the thought of being picked by Levi. Levi himself picked me. H-he picked me!!!

I was starting to get emotional so I calmed myself down. Unconsciously, an idiotic and wide smile formed onto my face as I hid it with my hands over my face.

But I have to admit, love really is a weird thing. It made me have all these weird and uncontrollable feelings just for someone I barely know of.

As of right now, I'm still training myself. I want to become stronger. I wouldn't want to be the weak one and cause troubles.

And...I don't want to have a bad image for Levi. I blushed a little, thinking of Levi.

I closed my eyes as I took a couple deep breath and start training again.

I trained for the rest of the afternoon time till dinner.

I walked in the cafeteria and set by my 6 friends. I smiled a little knowing that I have friends. And it's not only 1 or 2 but 6.

I ate as I thought of the process of how Levi and I will meet. I thought of us holding hands, hugging each other, and...kissing.

I tried my best to put on a normal face. I have to agree that I am a little perverted, I guess.

Couple days later, we were given three choices to think over on which one we want to join. The Garrison, Military Police, or the Survey Corps.

My heart pounded on the mention of the Survey Corps. An image of Levi walking, with me following behind poped up, with Levi pausing to stare at me for a while.

I shook away the image and concentrated on our leaders words on what each section's purpose was.

I immediately decided on the Survey Corps. I kinda hope my friends choose the same, cause I didn't want to be alone. I know that's pretty selfish, but I dislike feeling lonely.

Finally, we were officially out doing our jobs, but still inside the walls and standing guard for titans.

I saw a couple right across from me sitting on a bench. They had their hands intercepted, and both staring at each other with blushes on their faces.

I imagined the girl to be me, and the guy to be Levi. My face blushed, and I turned away when the guy spotted me. Then the girl spotted me too.

It was embarrassing, especially being caught staring at people being all lovey-dovey.

I turned my back on the couple slowly, and imitated the way their hands intercepted.

Actually...will I really be able to be with Levi? Or at least be able to talk to him properly? I don't know. But in the future, I'll know.

I used my 3DMG and flew to the top of the walls along with the others.

The sunlight shined down on us, and it felt different. I've never experienced this before, as I looked down at the giant scenery that sits in front of me. I felt carefree.

Unconsciously, a smile formed on my face.

"It would be great if I could enjoy it with Levi,"I thought.

For now, I'll enjoy myself. Chances like this doesn't come often. I shouldn't waste it by being selfish.

I got up and started to work on the cannons, we had to get it ready so we could fire it at titans.

" Heyyy,"Sasha whispered,"I have food."

I looked up to see Sasha holding a thick slice of fresh meat. It was raw.

"Sasha, put that back or we'll get in trouble."Someone whispered.

"What are you doing, meat is very hard to get now,"Connie said sternly,"put that back, Sasha."

"It's fine, but don't you feel attracted to it?"Sasha giggled,"let's eat it.

There was a brief moment of silence, we all stared at Sasha, then looked at each other. And finally, we stared at the fresh slice of meat.

"I'm in,"Ymir said.

"Are you crazy?"Connie said,"what if they found out."

Ymir let out a giggle,"oh Connie, it's fine, we'll just not let them."

"Come on, if you're not eating, then I'll have your share,"Ymir said.

We all stared at Ymir, until someone gave in and decides to have some of the meat too. And more people decides to take the risk until it's only me and Connie.

Connie stared at me, and I stared back feeling a little shy.

In my mind, I actually really want to have a slice of the meat.

I've only had small slices of meats that were poor qualities. This was my first time seeing fresh meat, it was in my grasp. All I need to grasp it was one sentence. I want a piece.

But I feel shy and I'm the last one besides Connie. Plus, the actual right thing to do is probably to not join them. I didn't know what to do.

I guess we stared at each other for a little too long. Because Sasha started giggling, and said that we would look so cute as a couple.

My face stared at Sasha quickly and my face blushed.

"W-what are you saying,"I squealed a little.

"Oohh, look at (y/n), blushing and being shy,"Sasha said, clearly amused,"isn't she cute, Connie."

This was embarrassing, I tried to shut Sasha up, but I keep on failing.

"I know, but I do think that you guys should get together,"Sasha said and smiled at me.

"W-why do you think that,"I asked.

Sasha looked over at Connie.

Now that I think about it, Connie was quiet the whole time.

"Stop it,Sasha,"Connie said blushing a little,"go say that to someone else."

I could feel the awkwardness between the soldiers, some of them smiling a little awkwardly.

"Sasha, just stop talking about it,"I told her.

"Okay, but you see,"Sasha talked quietly but enough for Connie to hear it,"Connie he-"Sasha was cut off by Connie.

"Shut up,"Connie said, annoyed.

We stared at Connie, I wonder what Sasha wanted to tell me.

"Come on, Connie,"Sasha said,"I was just playing around, don't be mad."

It was all silence until I felt a huge poof of aura behind me. We were in the shadows of the colossal titan. I turned around slowly, horrified.

The hands of the colossal titan's was reaching in towards us.
