"What's with the dumb look on your face?" I asked as he stared at me blankly. Noticing his outfit, I was pleasantly surprised. I had expected him to arrive wearing his normal outfit- the corps mandated uniform with his peculiar half and half haori. Instead, he wore a typical, high-quality hakama.
I walked up to Giyu, bopping his nose before grabbing ahold of one of his hands. He exuded a pleasant, fresh scent. I could only imagine how much rubbing had to be done for the fruity fragrance to override the sweat and grime he accumulated from training.
"Let's go!" I looked up and beamed at him, resulting in a slight blush forming across Giyu's cheeks. "Blushing this early into a date?" I covered my mouth and giggled a bit.
"Someone's a cherry boy," I commented, ignoring the fact that I was the one to pop his cherry, as he did to me. He turned his head away and loosened his fingers from mine.
I grabbed on tighter and chucked. "Don't be like that Giyu. You know it was only a joke, right? Please forgive your super cute girlfriend."
Succumbing to my words combined with my pout, he gave an exasperated sigh and reluctantly let me pull him into town.
The streets were busting with townspeople, old and young alike roaming the streets. Despite the hecticness, Mitsuri was somehow still able to keep up with us, never letting us out of her sight. We had just left the last shop of many, meaning I had finally purchased everything I needed for my experiments.
Giyu's arms were full to the brim, each one carrying a plethora of goods. He wore a dissatisfied expression, a blatantly obvious frown showing on his face that clearly asked my intentions for inviting him out.
"Aha! Strike two!" Mitsuri yelled as she weaved through the crowd. Finally reaching us after fighting against a huge surge of people, she expressed her displeasure.
"The angel Shinobu took pity on you and took you on a date, and this is how you decide to act?" She scoffed, crossing her arms against her chest.
"Mitsuri, the date hasn't even started. All he's been doing was carrying around my bags, but since you're here, I guess you can take these to the estate." Taking the bags from Giyu's arms and giving them to Mitsuri, I waved to her goodbye before turning around to face him.
"You've been dismissed from your bag carrying duty, Giyu. Now, let the real date commence." Giving me a sigh of relief, I could see a small smile creep onto his face.

We strolled around town at our leisure, taking time to wander into random shops that piqued our interest. Shinobu led me by the hand, keeping a firm, yet gentle grasp while wearing a gleeful smile.
Unlike the normal silence we usually spent our time together in, the town was awfully noisy, forcing Shinobu to raise her voice in order to be heard. As we had just left an antique shop without purchasing anything, I felt a small tug on the bottom of my hakama.
A girl of around 7 wearing a floral print dress had a tiny hand latched onto the fabric. She stared up at me in wonder, her eyes glistening with childlike wonder.
"Hello mister," she politely said. "I like you. I want to marry you." I turned to Shinobu, cocking an eyebrow in her direction to ask her what I should do. She gave me a small shrug, while her eyes were filled with mischief and amusement.
