Olivia laid a large picnic blanket down at the top of a hill. It was the most perfect spot for a nice picnic together. Beautiful pink, purple and blue flowers filled the area around us.

I placed a picnic basket of food and snacks down on the blanket and sat down, while Olivia ran down the hill to the car to grab a some sketch books and art supplies.

"You were so right. It's so nice up here." She said as she reached the top of the hill, placing the bag of things down and sitting down next to me.

"It's my favorite spot for a nice picnic." I smiled

"It's so relaxing here. I haven't had a moment to relax lately." She pointed out.

Olivia has been working very hard on her music and the second season of High school Musical: The Musical The Series.

"I know baby," I reached to hold her hands in mine. "but now you get to relax for a little while."

"And with the most beautiful girl." She smiled and pushed a strand of my hair out of my face.

I smiled and reached for the picnic basket. "Snacks?" I laughed.

"Oh yes please!" She laughs, "I'm actually so hungry." She pats her stomach.

We laughed and she took a container of chocolate covered strawberries out of the basket. She took one bite and smiled, humming.

"Do your like them?"

"Baby, these are so good. I'm so glad you made them." She said, before taking another bite.

"I know they're your favorite." I smiled at her, as she happily nodded her head.

Olivia grabbed another one out of the container and brought it to my face. I took a bite, as she feed me the rest of the strawberry.

We ate through the rest of the strawberries, and she already started pouting about it.

"I can make more when we get back, if you'd like." I move closer to her resting my head on her shoulder.

"Really?" She smiled.

"Of course, anything for you." I cuddled my head closer to her neck, as she moved her arm around me, kissing the crown of my head.

"Do you want to get to drawing?" She smiles, lifting my chin to look at her with her finger tips.

"Yeah." I smiled.

She leaned towards me, as did I towards her. Our lips connected in a short, soft, sweet kiss. It was a kiss that was meant to be short. We had a new task at hand.

I grabbed the bag with the art supplies and pulled out the sketch books and handed one to Olivia. I grabbed a pencil and some water colors and moved to the other end of the blanket.

I laid down on my stomach, and opened up the book. I flipped to a clean page and began sketching my beautiful girlfriend.

I sketched out her facial features, starting with her nose. Then I moved to her brown eyes, then her beautiful smile. I drew her long hair, just the same way she let it sit loosely on her shoulders. I drew her shoulders and chest.

Then, oh. I reached the bottom on the paper. I reached for the water colors and a paint brush.

I looked up at Olivia, who was just as focused on her drawing as I was.

I dipped my paint brush in water and picked the brown paint for my brush. I moved the brush again the paper, filling in her hair and eye brows.

"Not fair (y/n). I'm not even done drawing you yet, and you're already coloring it." Olivia whined, looking over at me.

"Liv, baby, it's not a race." I chuckled, cleaning my brush in the water.

"I know, I just can't get this right." She mumbled, focusing back in on her piece.

"I'm sure it's perfect." I reassured her.

"Ehh." She replied, not lifting her eyes from her book now.

I went back to my painting. I began to mix a tiny bit of yellow in with the brown for her eyes. I cleaned my brush off again, then went in for a pale peach color for her skin tone.

I painted her skin, and reached for some light pink and orange for her cheeks and the shadows on her skin.

I cleaned my brush once again, and went for the lilac paint. I filled in her shirt with the pale purple hue.

I cleaned the brush off for good, and pushed the paints aside. I grabbed a fine point black marker from the bag.

I started outlining the painting. After I finished, I took a moment to admire my work. The paint work was kind of messy, but it still looked okay.

I looked up at Olivia, who had started painting her's. I watched as she painted her paper, and moved her tongue around in her mouth, poking at her cheeks, as she was so focused.

I could tell she was in the zone and I didn't want to disturb that for her.

I sat up, and took in the view around me. I moved towards the edge of the blanket. I reached out and plucked at one of the pink flowers.

I tucked it behind me ear, and plucked a purple one for Olivia.

I got up and walked over to Olivia, sitting down in front of her placing it behind her ear.

She looked up from her painting and smiled. "These flowers are so pretty."

She quickly added a final touch and set the sketch book aside.

"Not as pretty as you are." I smiled.

She chuckled, "You're too cute." She tapped the tip of my nose with her index finger.

"Okay are you ready for the reveal?" I said reaching for my sketch book. I pulled it against my chest so she couldn't see it.

She quickly did the same. "I think so."

"Okay ready. Three, two, one." I said, and we quickly traded books.

I looked over her painting of me. It was a lovely piece of me, with the only colors being different shades of my favorite color.

"I was trying to be artsy with it." She mumbles.

"It looked incredible." I smiled. "Mines a bit messy, but I wanted it to be messy."

"I love it baby."

"I love you, Liv.

"I love you too, (y/n/n)."
