"Baby," I whined, "It's just a dress." I trailed off as she pulled me along behind her into our apartment building.

"I don't care, I told you not to wear it out." She said not even looking at me, and unlocking the door to our apartment.

"But I thought you liked this dress?" I slipped my hand out of her grasp and crossed my arms.

"I told you not to wear it." She puts her hands on my waist pulling me into our apartment.

"Why?" I questioned.

"You look so good." My girlfriend pointed out before closing the door behind us.

"Thank you, I feel it. So why can't I wear it?" I take her arms off of my waist, and take a step back.

"Everyone was looking at you. How could they not? You look incredible, everyone could tell. Everyone was staring at you, and all of this," She motions to my body and my curves, "this is for my eyes only." She complained. "I don't like it when people who aren't me get to see it."

"The dress isn't that bad-" The dress was on the shorter side and was definitely tight. It dipped down in the front, showing off some cleavage. It had a slit on the side, showing even more skin. It made me feel so confident, all while it was in my favorite color.

"Oh and that's not even the bad part." She said, almost in a shout, which made me flinch slightly.

"Almost every man and woman was flirting with you." She folded her arms against her chest, leaning against the counter.

"So what, it's not like I was flirting back." I threw my hands up in defense.

"Still." She said, slamming her hands against the counter, making me flinch at the sudden moment and noise. "They may not have done that if you had listened to me." I could instantly hear in her voice how upset she was. It was a mixture of anger and frustration.

"You shouldn't have gone up to some of them in the first place." She hung her head. "Or even, I don't know, talked to them at all." She basically growled.

"Are you jealous that other people we're talking to me or something? Are you upset that I didn't give you all my attention?" I folded my arms back to my chest.

After that, it was quiet. Only for a few minutes. It wasn't awkward silence, but angry silence. I stood there waiting for her to speak, look up, or just do something.

"Well?" My voice shook slightly, "Say something." I let my arms fall to my sides as I twist at the bottom seam of my dress with my finger tips. I bit my lip back nervously.

She stormed up to me and forced my chin up to meet her cold gaze. "Yes, I'm upset your attention wasn't focused on me. I should be the one and only."

If looks could kill, I'd be six feet under.

I took a step back out of nervousness, removing her hand, and watching her arm fall back to her side.

"You are my one and only, and you always have my attention."

"Not at the party I wasn't." She said calmly. A little too calmly.

At that moment, I realized what was about to go down. This was the calm before the storm. The calm before whatever she was going to do with me.

I took a deep breath as I felt her hands explore my body moving from my waist to my back, her eyes still locked in with mine. They were gentle touches, but the gentleness wasn't bound to last.
