I open Olivia's front door with the spare key she gave me.

About a half hour ago, she facetimed me crying. Naturally, I asked what happened, and she just asked me to come over so she could explain it better. I instantly got ready to go check on her.

I knew it was going to be about Josh. It's almost always about Josh. He's always causing her so much pain, but she loves him.

I hate seeing her like this. I should have spoken up right before they had gotten together. I knew he wasn't right for her, but how could I stop her from loving him?

I love Olivia so much, and not only as my best friend. I'll never be able to admit that too her, but as long as she's in my life and happy, I truly don't care  if I have to keep pushing these feelings down.

None of that matters now. What matters is Olivia, and making sure she's okay.

I closed the door behind me, and began to look around for her. I searched all of the downstairs area of the house, and headed upstairs. I ended up finding her sitting on her bathroom floor, still crying.

"Oh Liv." I got down on my knee, and opened my arms, offering her a hug. She quickly accepted, and cried even harder into my shoulder.

I moved us so we were sitting on the floor. I gently rubbed circles on her back in an attempt to calm her down a bit.

"It's over." She finally gets out in between sobs.

"What's over?" I asked, beginning to play with her hair a bit trying to sooth her.

"Josh and I." Her voice broke, instantly breaking my heart.

"I'm so sorry, you didn't deserve that." I sighed then hugged her tighter to me. "Frankly, he didn't deserve you. Someone who is as beautiful, intelligent, funny, and kind-hearted like you deserves so much better than being treated the way he treated you."

"(Y/N)." She mumbled.

"No, don't even try to tell me I'm wrong, because you are such an incredible person. It's really his loss."

There were a few moments of silence. It wasn't awkward, but more of a comfortable silence.

"(Y/N/N)."

"Hmm?" I hummed, still rubbing circles on her back, while stroking her hair.

"What would I ever do with out you?" She pulled out of the hug slightly to look into my eyes. She had stopped crying, but tears still stained her face.

I gently cup her face in my hand, and stroke her cheek with my thumb. I wiped away a few tears still on her cheeks. "You'll always have me." I chuckled.

I pushed a piece of her hair out of her face, and tapped the tip of her nose. "Boop." I said in an attempt to lighten the mood.

It worked, thankfully, I got her to laugh and smile. I loved seeing her smile.

"Would you please stay over?" She asked breaking the eye contact.

"Sure, I just don't have an overnight bag-"

"It's okay, I have extra clothes you can wear." She moves to sit on her heels. "I really don't want you to leave." She says rubbing the back of her neck.

"Order delivery, and watch some netflix?" I asked.

"Oh yes please!" We laughed.
