It's too early to start the day, but I also know I won't be going back to sleep. I gently move my feet off the side of the bed, careful not to wake Jimin, and ease up from the bed. I bend down to the floor, slowly picking up my shirt from last night.
I leave my bedroom after putting on a fresh pair of underwear and pulling the shirt over my body. I go into my small kitchen to make some coffee. I don't normally drink the stuff unless I'm cramming for finals, but I figure it'll help keep me awake at the very least.
While my coffee's brewing, I go into the bathroom and gently splash some cold water over my face. I grab a washrag and dab around my face while waiting. My thoughts suddenly turn to last night once spotting the light hickey on my collarbone.
To be honest, I don't necessarily dislike the idea of sleeping with him. However, he does outstay his welcome at times, but I don't say anything because, without him, I wouldn't have a place to stay.
My cousin doesn't have enough room for me to live with him, and besides, I would rather live by myself here than with him and his roommate.
After I finish washing up, I leave the bathroom and go back into the kitchen. The coffee is already done. I grab my mug and pour the brown liquid into it while walking into the open living room.
I go walk through the living room and toward my balcony. Opening the glass door, I take in the outdoors. This is one major advantage of living here: the scenery.
The tall trees surround the outside. The apartments are on a small hill, so I can see over a little distance from here, and what I can see is completely covered in a breathtaking view of a green forest. However, it's cloudy and still a little wet today. I let the mug waver close to my nostrils where the strong aroma aids in my comfort.
As if the timing is right on cue, I see it start to lightly rain. I frown at the sky.
"I'm sick of the rain," I mumble to myself as I turn around and walk back inside my apartment.
Coming over to the couch, I sit down on the soft cushion and start flipping through channels on tv.

After an hour of watching television, the door to my bedroom opens. Jimin walks out, rubbing his eyes tiredly.
"The dead has risen," I comment, laughing softly.
"Ah ha ha, very funny," he yawns sarcastically.
He walks into the kitchen, making him some coffee too. "Turn it to the news if you don't mind. I need to hear the weather for this afternoon."
I grab the remote and turn it to the news station.
"-is here with the news,"
He bends down underneath the cabinets and leans over the counter in the kitchen on his elbows to see the tv.
"Thank you," a lady says kindly while standing in front of the map of our area. "For today's weather, we're looking at more rain. If you haven't looked outside yet, then I'm here to tell you it's already started, and it's nasty."
