What does anyone say to that? I'm not going to drop it after coming so close to death. As much as I hate to admit it, it's a major wakeup call-may be one of the first biggest wakeup calls of my entire life.

"You're right," the words come out quietly as I turn around to face him. "You're absolutely right. Tell me what I need to do and help me out of this mess."

From my agreeing words, he nods contently, then introduces me to my new attorney.

For some odd reason, I feel a lot better with this attorney than with my last one. I don't know if it's his kind personality or the fact that he truly cares about what happens to me.

After we introduced ourselves, he politely took me out to eat at a small restaurant where I wouldn't be bothered. Sure, I had to wear sunglasses the whole time and a wig to make sure no one would point me out, but I got to eat freshly cooked food, and it tasted delicious.

He paid for the meal, walked me to his vehicle, and even opened the door for me. He wasn't being nice for the case, but he was being extremely helpful with his gestures and kind words as well.

Once he slides into the driver's seat, he cranks the engine, and we start driving off.

"You know, I think after what happened you should move into my home. I have an available upstairs room where you could stay until your case is settled. I live in a highly-secured neighborhood with police watching all the time, and I even have a house system alarm in case of any intruders. My son also lives with me, so it won't be the two of us. The investigator told me to ask this of you for the sake of your protection." He admits calmly while waiting for my response.

"Isn't it a little too sudden to move in with someone you don't know? Besides, is this appropriate given our current relationship?"

"I'm a public figure and help many people throughout the year with their court cases. I can assure you that you are not the first person to stay underneath my roof during your trial, and you won't be the last either. This is a safety measure that I ask for people who need protection, not that it's required, but I want to do it so that I can help my clients who may be in danger."

"I'm a professional attorney, and I would never dream of hurting you in any way. I only want to help, so while some people may say it's inappropriate to have you stay in my home, I say it's inappropriate when you're supposed to have police officers stationed outside your house and still have people break in."

After that, I rethink my current situation. I decide maybe it's best to take him up on his offer. I have no clue what will happen if I don't.

People likely know where my new whereabouts are, so maybe it's safer this way.

"Okay, but we have to go back, so I can explain myself to Jungkook. He's family, and I don't want to leave him in the dark."

"You can't be serious, Emiko," Jungkook walks around with his hands on his hips.

My attorney stands in the corner patiently, while Jungkook thinks through this. Yoongi is still upstairs sleeping, at least that's what Jungkook said before I explained about me leaving.
