A smile spreads across my face when I turn over, reaching for him. With the early morning sunshine casting its rays into the room, he turns and glances at me with a wide smile matching my own.

Thoughts come and go, warning me this is real yet that it also isn't, but I know it is. I see him more now than ever before.

"Emiko?" He whispers, causing me to giggle.

When he says my name again, the world shifts, and the sweet tone turns to screams.

I sit up breathing heavily with panic in my eyes. I'm back in the dream again. Jin is beside me, covered in blood while weakly trying to stand on his feet.

"I won't let them take you," he says, standing up with as much strength as he has while wiping the blood from his mouth. "Princess Yuko, whatever happens here tonight, I want you to know that I'm honored to have served such a wonderful lady like yourself. Now, before they surround us, take the horse and go."

I'm caught off guard by the sudden change that I don't fully have time to take in what he's telling me.

Moments ago, I was sleeping beside Namjoon, cuddled together. Now, I'm in a forest with Jin, and the night above me shines down threateningly. The night has never looked so intimidating before.

He places his stance, holding a large sword with a hateful expression on his face. "If you die here, everyone will die for nothing! You are our future, Princess Yuko! Now go!" He yells. Tears stream down my face although I can't control them.

I hurry and climb on the horse where I take off in the opposite direction. I ride farther away from the chaos and the sounds of death.

And then as if I'm no longer in control of my body, I become a bystander watching it all happen.

I watch Yuko ride far on the horse. The tears stream down her face and her cries of pain echo through the dark forest. I watch her as if it's the last time I'll ever see her again.

The horse rises, knocking her off, and she hits the ground hard. I watch her unconscious body lay still, and eventually, they catch up to her.

Dozens of men surround her still body with her flowing white dress drifting with the wind. It's bloody with dirt, and tears, and is ripped at the bottom.

"What do we do, Sir?" One of the warriors asks the one standing over her body.

He takes off his helmet and turns around with a smirk. "Now, she's mine," the face is Jungkook's, but the more I watch, the more confused I become. What's happening?

Time moves along from hours to days and eventually weeks. I stand outside of a wooden cell as I stare forward at Yuko. She's chained up with her dress torn in more places than one with half of her body showing.

She's skinny, pale, and has bruises running along her skin, but I can't do anything.

This isn't what my professor said happened to her. Did he lie? Does he not know the truth? Why is she showing me all of this? Does she want her truth told?

Later on, the one who resembles Jungkook arrives at the cell, smirking while looking down at her.

"You look so beautiful in this cage, Yuko. What a shame your father didn't hand you over to me as promised. Then all of this could've been avoided. You were given to Hiroto, but you see, my sister was supposed to marry him." He sighs while standing straighter.
