Something in the way you're looking through my eyes
Don't know if I'm gonna make it out alive"So you're tell me the girl I almost slept with was the one that gave Indiana the ring we've been trying to find for fucking months?" Niall deadpanned as he leaned against the table, not one look of amusement in his eyes.
Fucking hell, the more we say this shit the worse it gets. When the words actually come out of our mouths you'd think we walked straight out of a fucking horror movie or something.
I'm not in the mood to be doing this, but it's what Indiana and I agreed on last night. We need to take steps forward to improve the issues around us and resolve them.
So, it starts with the truth.
"I really didn't need to know you were going to sleep with my best friend." Indiana shook her head as she sat in the seat next to me with her arms crossed over her chest.
"Well maybe you shouldn't be her fucking friend after this," Niall snapped, sounding much more aggressive then I had heard him in a long time. "Because look where it fucking got us."
Indiana and I both were clearly taken back by this. His tone wasn't anywhere near his usual upbeat joking manner, it was far from it. He didn't try to even pretend to be okay with this.
I would pretend either. I'm not okay with it, none of us are. I'd just probably be a bit nicer about it, especially talking to the one person who can probably get answers about it.
"So it's true?" Liam cleared his throat and I turned my head to where he was sitting at the end of the table. "She's the one who gave her the ring?"
Surprise, we're all here. After last night Indiana and I decided it would be best if we finally came clean about everything to the boys.
Zayn obviously knows about most of it, but some of this is still a shock. We want to work on fixing this instead of hiding it from each other, so we decided that we would meet with them all.
I know it was a bit of a surprise when I called them to meet at my apartment today. They were all trying to figure out what had happened between Indiana and I but I just told them to drop it and focus on what we were saying.
"Yes," Indiana answered him, letting out a deep sigh. My hand slipped under the table to give her thigh a reassuring squeeze. "She gave me it as some sort of going away on tour gift."
She glanced over at me, giving me a short look before she focused her attention back on the boys. I hoped that my touch would help her calm down, but I had no idea if it would.
Things between us were still off. We had so much more we needed to talk through, we just needed to start with this. I think things will be fine, but we can only hope.
"Is that supposed to be connected somehow?" Louis spoke up, sitting up in his chair. "Like she gave it to you right when you got tied into our shit."
