*Cling. Cling. Cling.*

The car keys clank against each other while in the ignition. The trees subtly move and fort as the wind whizzes by each leave dragging some of it along. The air slowly stings my flesh as the air starts to cool down while the sun's rays hide behind a thick grayish Nimbus cloud. I look out the window and see cars quickly pass by while pedestrians walk mindlessly on the sidewalk. Their eyes preoccupied with their smartphones while some speedily move across as their briefcase smack the legs... However, despite this, this day feels very quiet and calm. I turned towards Mr. Stephenson and the police driver as they wait ever so vigilantly out the car windshield.

"Mr. Alex, how do we know this guy will be right here right now?" I asked curiously as I fix my jacket and straighten my seat posture.

"We've been following this guy's trails for a whole month now, we've studied his route and his schedule. He should be here around 15 minutes from now." The police officer replied as he leans on the steering wheel while looking closely outside.

"Plus, this guy's on a crime spree. I don't know if he's dumb or just brave." Mr. Stephenson chimed in as he takes the pen near the windshield and fiddles with it.

"So... how come we are here? Shouldn't we be back at the police station?" I ask confusingly while I lean in closer to Mr. Stephenson.

"Well, the investigator let us tag along considering we are heavily involved in one of his potential crimes." Mr. Stephenson replied while he starts to lean towards the windshield.

"Then let's settle this then. " I replied while leaned back into my seat and fixed my sleeves.

After a few more minutes go by of nothing but vigilant observation and the police officer's hands on the steering wheel and ignition, the radio starts to crackle.

"Officer Argus, we have the car approaching the perimeter, get your engines ready. This guy's gonna run." The radio said while crackling heavily.

"Looks like the guy's here. We outta move. Looks like the guy wants a chase." Officer Argus told us as he fires up the engine and prepares to follow a dented gray car.

As we fasten our seatbelt for the coming hunt, I put my hand in my pocket and held on tightly to one of my previous life's memorabilia. The one single piece keeping my whole identity still somewhat intact... My name tag.

While I proceeded to do clenched my fist tightly in my pocket, the car then started to move very quickly towards and onto the highway. The sudden movement made my inside feel as if they were pushed to my back and I felt a little dizzy. However, as I continued to close my eyes, I realized that we are at the tail of this man. We are on the brink of catching him, at the brink of unlocking my identity. As this realization slowly came over me, I started to feel less afraid more excited.

I slowly opened my eyes saw the car, the dented, illegal, gray car staring right at us while we proceed with the chase. Each turn, I felt as if I was gonna puke. Each dime turned and with each spin, I felt myself being push from side to side. My heart started to become very heavy and beat extremely, and my vision started to blur as my head felt light as if it were floating.

Before I started to pass out from all the intense movement, I felt everything come to a sudden stop. My almost blurred eyes were focused enough to see Mr. Stephenson and Officer Argus come out of the car hastily. And as I was about to pass out, I heard Mr. Argus yell.

"Hey, stand down Mr.-" He said... then it all went dark.

Then... my vision slowly faded back in whilst my eyes. While I look around, I saw an extremely pink wall with a pink bed with a bookshelf near it. I sat down and looked at the while beside me and see that it's... Denim blue... I'm back home... Wait- Why am I back home? I frantically ran around the room looking for any note that Mr. Stephenson might've left me. But then something came over me, what if it didn't happen... What if it were just a dream...
