Red Riding Hood AU- Marichat

A/N:
They have the same personalities but it's a "Red Riding Hood" AU. And no he's not planning on eating her like in the actual story😂. Plus they already know each other. And this AU isn't like the actual story, it's just inspired.

~Marinette's pov~

My mom had given me a basket full of different pastries to give to my grandma since she was too busy. And she really wanted my grandma to have these pastries because she got in an accident and hurt her leg. I was kinda nervous at first since I had to go in the woods on my own, but everything was so far so good. That's when I heard a stick break and I immediately froze. I look around and see nothing so keep walking, but this time I quickened my pace. I started to feel like I was being watched and long after I felt like I was being followed. "Hey princess." Someone said. I sighed in relief and rolled my eyes knowing who it was. "Hey Chat." I greeted. "I didn't know you were visiting." He said smirking. "I'm not." I replied. "Whatcha got there?" He asked as he tried to grab it. "They're pastries for my grandma, kitty." I said as I pulled it away from hnis reach. "Aww." He said pouting. "Don't worry I'll bring you some next time, Chaton." I said. And I scratched him under the chin as he purred.

I kinda lost track of time as I hung out with Chat Noir. "You know I've anyways
wondered, are you interested in anyone?" He asked. "Why are you asking?" I asked back. "Curious." He replied. "Not telling." I said giggling. "Oh yeah? I have my ways to make you talk." He said smirking. And all of a sudden he started tickling me. "Ah! Chat, stop!" I yelled laughing. "There she is! Hey, get back you beast!" My dad yelled and ran up to us with my mom. "Go." I told Chat. And he did, just like that he disappeared into the bushes and trees. "Oh sweetie, you're all right! Did that monster hurt you!?" Mom asked. "I'm fine mom. What are you doing here anyways? I thought you were busy." I said. "I was, but then it was getting late and I called your grandma to ask if you were there and she said you haven't even arrived. So we drop everything to come and look for you." She explained. "Come on sweetie, let's get you home." She said. "We're never allowing you come back here again." My dad said. My heart stopped. "W-what? Why not?" I asked. "It's too dangerous." He replied.

They took me home and made sure I was alright. I was pretty bummed that I couldn't see Chat anymore. I wonder how he is since I was his only friend. He once told me that no one ever goes near him since they all think he's a monster. It's been a week now since the incident, my parents left and weren't coming until 9pm and it's currently 2pm. So I decided to go visit Chat just in case that was the last time I could ever see him. I waited for the pastries to be done, put it in a basket, got my stuff, and left. On my way there I could hear soft sobbing, I got curious so I went to go check it out.

When I saw who it was I was shocked. "Chat?" I asked. He wiped his tears and looked up, his expression went from upset to shocked to happy. "Princess!" He exclaimed as he hugged me. "Hey Chat." I hugged back. "I thought I wouldn't see you ever again." He said. "Is that why you were crying?" I asked. And he nodded in response. "Anyways why are you here? I thought that you aren't allowed to come anymore." He asked. "Well I'm not, but I wanted to see you one last time." I said. And he smiled. "Oh and I brought you these." I said handing him the basket. He opened it up and his eyes widened, then he started to stuff his mouth. I laughed at the site of him devouring the pastries.

~A few days later//Chat's pov~

I was more way more lonely than usual. Maybe it was the fact that I knew she wasn't coming back ever again. She was the only friend I had, the only person who didn't see me as a "monster", the girl who I was in love with. I was hoping that she would say she liked me but who am I kidding, no one would ever like me, not even her. She probably likes some other normal and handsome boy. Some other boy who isn't cursed all because of their selfish father, who was too much of a coward to take care of their own son who was cursed because of him. I was once was known as Adrien Agreste, until I turned three I turned into a cat boy. Then my father abandoned me in the woods, and I had to take care of myself. And now I go by the name Chat Noir. I still remember the day I met Marinette, she was visiting her grandma and found me hurt. She went home and came back with supplies to heal me, and the rest is history.

"Come on mama and papa, he isn't dangerous. I promise." I heard a familiar voice say. I peek through the bushes to find Mari and her parents walking to where we would usually hangout. She looked excited, but her parents looked worried. "Chat! Come out I have some exciting news!" She yelled. I slowly come out of my hiding place and her parents eyes widened as she hugged me like if I was one of them. "Chat, these are my parents. Mom, dad this is Chat Noir." She said. "Hello..." I greeted them feeling awkward. And they greeted back. Marinette turned to me and smiled. "Guess what! I was able to convince them to let me come and hangout with you again!" She exclaimed. "Ahem." Her dad said. "Ugh fine. I promised that we'll all spend some time together and they'll see if they change their minds. Is that okay with you?" She asked. "Of course." I replied.

We all hangout together and it went way more better than I thought it would. And they're actually very kind, I guess that's where Mari gets it from. I was so excited when they said that Mari could visit me again. They even said that I could go visit their house whenever I would like. The Dupain-Cheng's sure are something.

~Marinette's pov~

I was on my way to hangout with Chat and I was in such a good mood. I'm glad no, thrilled that parents were very fond of Chat. It was amazing. "Hey princess." Chat greeted. "Hey Chat." I greeted back. "So what should we do today?" I asked. "Whatever you desire, princess." He replied. We decided to play some games together. After a while we got tired and layed on the floor and started to watch the stars. "So are you ever going to answer my question?" He asked. "What?" I asked. "Remember, I asked if you were interested in." He reminded me. "Oh that, yeah actually." I said.

~Chat's pov~

My heart stopped, I knew it, she already likes someone else. "Really, who?" I asked. "You." She answered. I sat up and looked at her in shock as she also sat up. Was I imagining things! Were my ears diciving me? "What?" He asked in disbelief. "Yeah for a while now." She said with a blush on her face. "I like you too." I said feeling my cheeks burn. I stood up and reached my hand out to help her up. "Really?" She asked as she got up. "Yeah, a lot actually." I admitted flustered. We started to stare into each others eyes and began to lean in. Our lips met and it was like sparks, and I felt butterflies in my stomach. But soon we had pull away for air, and we stared into each others eyes lovingly again.
