New Neighbors- Adrienette

A/N:
In this chapter Adrien's mom is alive but his parents are divorced and he lives with Emilie. And Marinette's dad passed away so it's only her and Sabine. And there's no hero's or anything like that.

~Adrien's pov~

I was currently in the kitchen grabbing a snack when I noticed my mom hasn't come inside yet. I wondered why since it's been ten minutes since I saw her car pull up to the driveway.

I was getting ready to head back to my room when she came inside.

"Hey, mom." I happily greeted her.

"Hey, darling." She greeted back while putting her keys and purse on the counter.

"What took you so long out there?" I asked.

"Oh I was just chatting with our new neighbor." She answered.

"Someone finally moved into the Robinson's old house?" I asked.

"Yep! And the lady who's name is Sabine, is so sweet!" She exclaimed.

"That's awesome!" I exclaimed.

She nodded her head rapidly in excitement with a huge smile plastered on her face.

"Well I'm going upstairs, call me when dinner is ready." I said leaving.

"Okay darling!" She replied.

I walked home and I noticed that the moving truck was leaving. I guess the new neighbors got all of their stuff.

When I got inside my house I noticed my mom still didn't arrive from the store yet, so I just went upstairs to my room.

I was quite tired from today's gym lesson and felt like taking a nap. So I decided to do just that.

I laid down on my bed trying to sleep but something was preventing me to do so. Seriously I've tried to go to sleep for about thirty-five minutes! I look around to find what it was and that's when I realized it was too bright in here.

I got up and went to shut the curtains, hoping I'd be able to sleep now.

That's when I saw my mom chatting with the new neighbors again. Great, dinner is going to be ready soon and I'm not going to be able to take a nap anymore.

So I just started playing video games in the mean time.

Not that long later I heard my mom come inside.

"Adrien, come down here please!" She called out to me.

I paused my game and went downstairs as she asked me to.

"Yes?" I asked noticing how joyful she seemed. I wonder what it is.

"Get ready because we're going next door to have dinner with the new neighbors! Sabine just invited us. And she has a daughter your age, so you'll have someone to talk to." She explained.

"Oh okay, I'll go upstairs to get ready then." I said before heading upstairs.

My mom rang on the doorbell and we stood there until a lady opened the door.

"Hello there!" The lady greeted with a cheery voice.

"Hello Sabine, this is my son, Adrien." My mom said introducing me.

"Hello, Sabine?" I greeted in a questioning tone.
