~Adrien's pov~

She tried to emotionly manipulate me! Seriously, she tired to make me feel bad by telling me that she's given me her all and that this is how I repay her! The more she spoke the more angrier I got, so I turned my back on her and walked away successfully without having her try and stop me again.

As I walked away she started yelling at me and saying 'where am I going?' but I paid no attention to her. And she noticed that I wouldn't be going back to her, so she tried to catch up to me. But I made sure that wouldn't happen.

When I arrived home I immediately headed to my room and layed on my bed. And all I did was think about everything. Like about what just happened with Kagami, my father, and why do I let myself get pushed around.

I groaned in frustration thinking about how it was so obvious that Kagami was toxic. There were so many red flags, and yet I payed no attention to them. Thank God I dogged a bullet by not liking her back and getting in a relationship.

That's when a knock was heard from the other side of my door. "Adrien, your father wishes to speak to you." I heard Nathalie say.

"Okay, I'll be on my way right now!" I yelled to make sure she heard. And then I heard her walk away.

I got up and made my way to my father's office. I didn't know what he wanted to talk about, but whatever it was, it wasn't going to be good. It almost never is.

I knocked on the door and heard him say to come in, so I did.

"You needed me, father?" I asked. "Yes, Adrien. I got a complaint from Tsurugi-san saying that you were disrespectful towards Kagami, is it true?" He said looking more angrier than usual.

I'm so dead.

"Y-yes father, it's true." I said stuttering in the process of speaking. He sighed in frustration. "Why Adrien!? Do you know what could happen if you do idiotic things like that!?" He yelled.

I flinched at his yelling. "But father, she was being toxic! She treats me like her property of some sort!" I yelled in desperation hoping he'll understand. But those hopes quickly faded away to what he said next.

"Who cares! I don't need you ruining the connections I have with people! You don't have a say in anything! You do as I say no matter what, even if it causes your happiness!" He yelled. As soon as those words came out of his mouth, I felt a huge knot in my stomach. And something in me switched.

"Why!? Because I'm just your little puppet!? Because you care more about your reputation than your own sons happiness!? I've tried so hard to make you pleased, to make you happy, and you never seemed to care! I turned 18 two months ago but stayed just to keep you satisfied! But you don't deserve to have satisfaction or happiness, because you're a heartless monster! And don't worry, I won't ruin anything else for you ever again! Because I'm leaving this shitshow!" I yelled letting some of my anger out, then stormed out.

I rushed upstairs to my room to gather my things. I quickly locked the door and started packing up. On the other side of the door was Nathalie and my father banging on it, and saying things like 'open the door'.

After all of my things were packed, my room was a complete mess. I looked around trying to find a way to escape, but I had no choice but to leave through the front door. Meaning I had to also deal with Natalie and my father trying to stop me.
