"Lord Fujimura."

The voice was from one of Inuyasha's most valuable relations here.

Masami stood as he did, with a cold demeanor and icy stare. It was more or less directed to the wolf demon sitting next to his lord. Though he had accepted Kouga's existence he wasn't too keen on having some demon so close with his lord. Kouga was too immersed in the story to tell that Masami was coming. It didn't help that the man was nimble on his feet.

Kouga couldn't help but turn his head away from Masami's glares. They pierced through him. He presumed he was getting such treatment because he was sitting very close to his much-respected lord. Not that the small stone bench was doing any favors for Kouga.

"Masami, stop glaring," Inuyasha ordered in a light-hearted tone.

Inuyasha has never had a harsh tone with Masami, only that one time a few years back but other than that the half-demon thought of him as a dear friend. A delicate thing he gained as he stayed here in the mansion. Masami nodded his head and focused his attention back on Inuyasha. The half-demon only had to take a glance at him to understand why he was here.

"Is it time for the meeting?" Inuyasha asked in a clearly dreadful tone.
"Yes, my lord."

The half-demon sighed heavily letting himself slouch for a moment then regaining his poise demeanor as he got up. He stood tall with grace and a fearsome gaze. He had everything a leader should have. Kouga didn't appreciate it before but observing Inuyasha now with a sobered mind his opinions changed.

He was getting that feeling a lot these past few weeks.

As someone who was in charge of his pack, he could respect a good leader when he sees one.

'You've really grown.' The wolf demon smiled.

Inuyasha slid his hand into his sleeve pulling out a white fan. He flicked the fan open and lightly fanned himself. At this time he also noticed the jade pendant tied to his waist and above that his sword. He usually never carried the pendant around before, would he need it in case of something happening?

Would something happen?

"Moroha it's time to head inside," Inuyasha called out.

Moroha came running towards her father taking the necessary precautions around the pond. She ran to Inuyasha's side and he patted her head.

"I have a meeting so you can't come along this time. Why don't you go inside to Yua?"

Moroha nodded, then glanced at Kouga.

"Can the wolf come with me?" She asked tilting her head for a special cutesy effect. Inuyasha chuckled and patted her head this time ruffling up her hair. He knew exactly what she was trying to do.

"No, not today. I have to speak with him after."

She pouted. Moroha had really wanted to mess with Kouga while her father wasn't around to stop her. Yes, they had made up but that won't stop her from pulling some pranks on the wolf demon.

Inuyasha turned to Kouga. "Come along, the meeting won't be longer than an hour, so you won't have to wait long."

Kouga thought 'why not?' and followed behind him. Moroha had left to her room as soon as they entered the manor, her reddish-pink dress disappearing as she turned the corner. All that was left was Inuyasha, Kouga and Masami. Before they could take a step further down the hall Masami stopped them.
