Inuyasha wanted to clear his head. The best way to do that was resting in the garden with Moroha and Kouga.

Recently he has been talking strolls around the garden with them both since the two "children" were the energetic type. Neither of them
Could sit still for more then five minutes.

It wasn't that Inuyasha disliked the strolls, quite the opposite, it became another activity he could look forward to.

Moroha tend to stray and find something new to do after ten minutes, leaving Inuyasha with Kouga. As the two walked they conversed. Their conversations were a bit random, bringing up old stories of fights and journeys they had. Inuyasha had opened up to him more usually doing most of the speaking. A bit surprising since he was always so silent nowadays, but Kouga guessed this was his little break from being so responsible all the time.

The half demon would ramble on and on about what not, ranting about his tiresome days and little pet peeves. Sometimes fondly recalling stories of Moroha when she was younger. Kouga would listen adding a little bit of commentary on the side, mostly staring at him as he passionately spoke.

Kouga didn't mind the endless sentences spouting out of Inuyasha's mouth. Rather the wolf demon recorded all those rants and stories in his head saving them for later. He would gaze affectionately at him giving him adoring smiles.

He was pretty quick with coming to terms with his feelings towards Inuyasha.

You would think Kouga would resist the thought but he's never felt like this before. This was the first time his heart has ever beat so hard for a person. Maybe if it was three and a half months earlier before he had met Inuyasha he wouldn't have even thought of such a thing.

Now, after he has slowly gotten closer to the half demon, Kouga -at the very least- really likes him. He constantly thought of him and the little moments they had together. He had these feelings but what does he do now? Does he confess? Does he let it flow? How much does he actually like the half demon? So many questions swarmed his head, for now Kouga listened to Inuyasha's story.

"And she sounded so adorable when she first called me father. I wanted to hold a big celebration but it seemed like a bit too much or that's what Masami said." Inuyasha spoke immersed in his story. "But we did have little party with me, Moroha, Masami, Yua, and even Mr.Furukawa had came. We all sat and had some sweets to celebrate."

"I didn't think you would be the type to overreact."

The half demon whipped his head at him narrowing his eyes. "I don't 'overreact'."

Kouga was a bit surprised at himself that he would have a light blush from the sudden eye contact, yet here he was.

"I'm sure when you have a child you'll understand."

Kouga thought about it. "I still don't think I would be like that."

Inuyasha rolled his eyes and walked a bit ahead.

"We'll see."

The half demon pouted, as he was going to continue his arguement. He started to turn around only to lose his footing and feel himself falling back.

'Oh no....these are nice clothes.'

For a bit of context, he had just worn the clothes that have been stored in the treasury. It was something from the previous Daimyo's time, it would be a shame to ruin it.

Fortunately for Kouga's quick speed, The wolf demon rushed to catch him in his arms. Inuyasha could feel one arm holding onto his waist and the other propping up the back of his head. Instinctively the Inuyasha grabbed onto his arms and they couldn't help but stare at each other intensely.
