The day finally arrived where they would greet the Daimyo Isamu Hashigawa.Inuyasha would welcome them in a more discreet manner, then have a banquet in their honor the next day. The black-haired man was unexpectedly calm even though he hasn't seen any of the people who he constantly worries about all day. Kouga hasn't been following being him and no one has seen him. Moroha was getting ready for the visitors so she was with Yua. He felt a bit uneasy thinking about Kouga. He wasn't here with him or in his eye sight. It made him internally panic, but he was still able to keep himself very calm.
Everyone was rushing around checking any of the last-minute preparations. It was quite hectic around the Fujimura Mansion.
At two hours past noon, the guest had finally arrived.
Inuyasha waited by the front of the manor with Moroha holding his hand. Both were dressed up in fancier clothing and looked stunning or at least that's what the servants of the house say. Without Kouga around it felt a bit odd but the half-demon couldn't worry about that now. Along with the father-daughter pair, Yua was standing close behind the princess, Masami next to his lord, and a couple of guards. Their welcome will be small as requested and this gave Inuyasha time to check the characteristics of his special guests. They watched the three carriages as they were being pulled in.
The first carriage would have the Daimyo Isamu Hashigawa, next to his assistant/personal guard Katashi Ando.
The assistant would be the biggest trouble of this visit. Behind them would be the few select maids and samurai they brought along with them. The half-demon waited for the carriage to stop.
Once they did, out came what Inuyasha could only tell was lord Hashigawa. Parting the curtain of the carriage, Lord Hashigawa took a look around before stepping out of the carriage and behind him his assistant. When first laying eyes on him Inuyasha was a bit taken back.
The Daimyo looked much more charming than what he heard. Not that Lord Fujimura was smitten by his looks but he was told that Lord Hashigawa was a silent stoic man and was only ever told about his accomplishments nothing about his appearance. It probably doesn't matter in a trade deal but this was still a surprise. The paintings didn't do Lord Hashigawa any favors either.
With his sharp jawline, fierce eyes, black long hair, Inuyasha could definitely see Lord Hashigawa being the rage among women in his province. He was said to not show much interest in love or emotions but he was a capable fighter and leader.
The rumors say he's quite an intimidating man, compared to the rest of his crew he seemed more relaxed. The abode of servants looked exhausted from the long trip but tried their best to seem okay. Inuyasha couldn't help but admire how much they wanted to impress their lord and this small province.
Lord Hashigawa walked up the steps to meet with Inuyasha and few steps behind him were Katashi. "Welcome Daimyo Hashigawa," Inuyasha bowed to greet him and he did the same.
"Thank you for allowing me and my servants to stay in your home Daimyo Fujimura."
"It's really no trouble at all. Let me introduce you to my daughter, Moroha Fujimura." Inuyasha placed a hand on Moroha's head.
He turned to her and gave her a smile. It was much different from how he looked before. An open-hearted smile. Inuyasha began to acknowledge him as a good person. Anyone who treats his daughter well was looked at fondly by Inuyasha. Katashi didn't exactly like that, especially when it comes to his lord.
Lord Hashigawa bowed and so did she.
"Welcome to our home." She bowed with poise and held great composure.
