As the song ends the man with black hair heard something from the surrounding area. He didn't seem concerned instead patted his daughter's head and humming the melody of the song.

"Kouga." He called out in between, breaking the rhythm momentarily.

He heard the bare footsteps of a wolf demon walking towards him. The man could hear the arrogance in his steps.

Nostalgic.

"I finally found you." His familiar voice echoed.

The man holding his daughter didn't bother to look at the demon. He smiled and ran his fingers through his daughter's hair. "It's been some time since I last saw you."

"Yeah, twelve years." The man responded with a huff, clearly vexed. Kouga crossed his arms. The man could see his reflection in the pond, the wolf demon still wore the same outfit he did before. He looked exactly how he remembered, never changing.

"Has it been that long?" He wondered.

"Yeah, it has!" Kouga was quick to respond. "And I wasted all this time looking for you and I find you here, reeking of human. I can barely smell your scent."

The little girl pokes out her head and stares at Kouga. "Father, who's this?"

Her father ruffled her hair. "It's a friend of mine."

Kouga eyes the girl, the more he stared at her the more familiar she looked. His anger began to subside and he smirked. 'She looks like her mother.'

The girl still stared at him as if he was a threat not too trusting of her fathers' words.

"Moroha why don't you go play while I talk to him, okay?" The black-haired man told her.

Moroha nodded. She didn't want to leave her father there with this demon but if it's her father's sayings she can not dismiss him. The girl ran along still suspicious about the demon with the fur skirt.

"Moroha? She's already this big. She looks like her too." Kouga watched the girl find her yellow ball and playing with it. Inuyasha smiled.

"She does, doesn't she. It's her eyes that go after me. Everything else is an exact copy of her mother."

Kouga looked down at him. The man's hair that used to be silver was now black, he had a human appearance, and the clothes of a noble replacing his red ones. Everything about him changed not just his appearance but his demeanor. His loud feisty personality was now calm and respectful. He had an air to him that made you feel warmth, but also could cut you down without hesitation. He seemed wise and each movement was full of grace. It was like watching a river; one that only took a second to switch from calm to deadly.

This wasn't the half-demon Kouga knew at all.

Where were the fire and the backtalk? His rash mentality, all gone.

With all those changes Kouga noticed he still had his sword, Tassaiga. Not that it was hard to notice. The feeble look of the sword clashed with his formal and high-quality attire. No one would guess its true appearance.

"Everyone has been looking for you."
"I know."

"Even that older brother of yours, the one with the fluffy thing around his shoulder." Inuyasha was a bit surprised on that one.
