As soon as they were done, they walked their way to the meeting room and Kouga was instructed to wait in Inuyasha's study room with Masami. Inuyasha waved them off and took a deep breath as he stared at the door leading to the meeting room. He checked for his pendant making sure it was tied right, then he put away his fan and opened the doors.

'I hope things go well.'

Right as he entered he was surrounded by the scent of malice and respect. An odd combination, but what could he expect? Even without the conflicting feelings in the room, all eyes were on him. Inuyasha stood his ground. He walked with poise and confidence even the traitorous nobles couldn't take their eyes off of him. They would hate to admit it but they can't deny that their current Daimyo was eye-catching with his looks and had extraordinary skill. His power would seem resonate from within him.

That was their lord Hideyoshi Fujimura, with a jade pendant proving his lordship and a frail sword around his waist.

Once he had sat down in front, with the other lords sitting in line on each side of him. They bowed to Lord Fujimura. Inuyasha nodded acknowledging their greetings. "Let's start our discussion."

The Lords and chieftains glanced at each other trying to silently decide who should go first. They were quite intimidated by the fearsome gaze their lord had. They all knew that Lord Fujimura was as kind as he was powerful. The traitors had to watch their mouths around him, there are a few that try to test their luck thinking that their shady connections will save them.

Like little mosquitos trying to suck an beast dry; each tried to best to hinder the beast as much as they can but there's only so much blood they can handle.

Ultimately they prayed that their lord was in a good mood, and he has been in a good mood for 9 years. They traitors got away with most things but only till Inuyasha has his chance to strike them down. He's slowly lowered the number of traitors to the few minor lords. Picking them off one by one. But right now it's better to keep your enemies close until he can corner them all.

After a few moments of hushed murmurs, one lord cleared their throat catching everyone's attention. Inuyasha looked to his right to the lord. It wasn't just any lord, it was the leader of Furukawa Samurai Clan, Hayate Furukawa.

Otherwise known as Inuyasha's teacher.

Inuyasha treated Furukawa with respect. He was a middle-aged man who looked younger than he actually was. He was tall, had black hair and unique black coal eyes that seemed to have a red gleam to them as well as a bit of stubble. Furukawa was a bit of a playboy, always after any lady he lays his eyes on but when serious, he could be quite intimidating. He kinda reminded Inuyasha of Miroku. He teaches swordsmanship and trains the samurai faultlessly.

And surprisingly well, most would add.

He was a good teacher though and no one could deny it. After all he has helped Inuyasha become what he is today.

As Inuyasha and him made eye contact, Furukawa smirked seeing him so capable and wise. He always thinks of the half demon as a son, being proud whenever he saw him.

"Go ahead." Inuyasha permitted.

"The first matter on hand should be the visit of the Daimyo Hashigawa." The rest listened intently. "With his arrival, we must make sure everything goes well. This is not a regular visit, this is a clear inspection. Caution is definitely advised to the lot of you."
