Well this is wonderful. I'm starting to get butterflies in my stomach. And not the kind, when you see a hot guy, and find out he's your lab partner. Nope definitely not those butterflies. What they heck did I do? I didn't rob a bank, I didn't beat anyone up, I'm pretty positive I didn't kill anyone. Why are they here!?

Twenty more steps- Hey that officers not that bad! Okay never mind, he has a big mole.

Fifteen more steps- Hands, why in the world are you shaking? You didn't do anything!

Ten more steps- Oh god, my moms crying.

Five more steps- Take a deep breath

0 steps- "you okay?" I'm trying to be cool about the unknown situation. I was standing behind the officers on my small porch. Gash this guy smells like butt! What the hell!

"Miss. Jackson," the older officer looked at my mom for a long time. But my mom didn't say anything.

Look's like her feisty attitude from this morning has left the building.

"What happened?" I asked blankly. It kind of fell out of my mouth. No one else was saying anything, so I might as well.

"Get inside Heidi, it's suppose to rain." My mom looked at the officer and walked in the house, while grabbing my arm, then closed the door in their faces.

I looked out the window to the sky, it was a little gray, a lot different from this morning, which had been clear blue and hot. But not really any signs of rain.

"right, uhm, mom I don't think your suppose to close doors in there faces. Like what if we call them if something happened, and they come a hour late because you just did that." I was still looking out the window, watching them get into their cruisers, but they didn't leave.

"I'm aloud to do whatever the hell I want." She answered. Well looks like the attitude was back.

"Are you not going to tell me what that was about?"

" Nothing really important, just wanted to see if I seen some guy that escaped prison, that's all." She wasn't facing me.

"Right, cause that's why you would be crying." I walked into the kitchen and set my book bag on the table and sighed.

"hey, what was in that box?" I called out.

"Oh I threw it out, it was empty!" She called back.

What?! She threw it out? It was not empty! I saw it! It had at least six things in it!

"you threw it out? Why?! It had my name on it!" I started walking into the living room where she was looking in the phone book.

"Pizza sound good?" she didn't even look up at me.

What the heck? How is she acting like this? Two cops were just at my house, she was crying, and she threw my things away!

"wow, really? Whatever, I'll be in my room. You can come up when you want to tell me why you threw MY things out." I turned around and stomped up the stairs.

Then she opened her big mouth.

" don't bother coming back down stairs, I don't want you down here if your going to act like that."

Oh my god! One thing I could have gotten from a blood relative, and she throws it out. I'm not going to be freaking happy.

I ignored her and went to my bed. And flopped down, pulling out my phone I had three new texts.

One from Bentley-

Hey what's going on? Saw some poe-poes in front of your house, what'd you do?

Then one from summer-

Dude check out the news

And then one from a unknown number.

But when I opened it, it was a blank message.

I didn't answer to any of the texts, cause I'm so lazy.

I still can't believe she did that. I walked to my window looked out to the gray sky, and surprisingly, a rain drop floated down and plopped down onto the glass.

I watched as more and more raindrops were coming down. I looked down to the garbage can.

Oh! I have a idea!!!!

I ran to the door and locked it. Then I got to the window and opened it. Lucky for me, I have a low roof, so it's easy to sneak out. It was a little slippery from the rain, but I could do it. I griped at the tiles and slowly walked down, making little noise. All the years of sneaking out to go to summers, really paid off. When I got to the edge went on my stomach and slowly eased my way off the roof. I made contact with the ground and let a big umph.

Now my butt was soaked and my shirt.

Crap! How am I suppose to get inside? I looked at the chair and proped it up to the house so I would be able to climb up. I looked over to the trash can. I really hope it's in there. I walked to the trash can and stood there. I pluged my nose and opened the lid.

I jumped back and I froze, I brought a hand to my mouth and held my breath, because what was inside the trash can, took a lot to not scream.

But of course I was unsuccessful, and let out a head pounding scream.
