"Happy valentine's day baby," I said to Vadah.
"Happy valentine's day," she said kissing me.
"Come here," I said pulling her on top of me. "What you wanna do today?"
"I was thinking we should go get some candy and watch a movie," she said running her hands through my hair.
The sounds of baby cries broke our little moment.
We both groaned and got up.
Rodney was crying in their crib while Troy just stared at the ceiling with his hands in his mouth. I picked up Troy, and Vadah got Rodney, and we took them to the kitchen to eat.We put them in their little playpens, and Vadah got two bottles of milk and started to heat them up.
"We should have a little date night tonight," Vadah said putting her arms around my neck.
"With the twins?" I laughed. "Impossible."
"We could drop them off at my mother's," she said kissing my neck. "We could do like dinner and a movie."
"That'll be nice," I said as Vadah went to go get the bottles and gave one to me.
I picked Troy back up and fed him his food while Vadah did the same to Rodney.
After feeding them, Vadah called her mom to make sure it was okay to bring the twins over there. I got them dressed in something decent. Then Vadah and I got dressed.
...
"Aww look at my grand babies," Ms. Green said with both of them in her hands.
"Ma please don't drop my babies," Vadah said sitting their bag down on the couch.
"Girl, I ain't never dropped you or Yas, so I'm not gon drop them," she said sitting down on the couch.
"So we should be back tomorrow to pick them up," Vadah said as we walked to the door.
"Take all the time you need."
We got back in the car and started driving to the store.
"Where yo sister at?" I asked Vadah.
"Over the weekend her and her friends went on a little roadtrip to Houston," she said as I nodded my head. "She wanted to get away from her dorm for a bit."
The car got quiet after that till we got to the store.
"You think we should get a new movie?" She asked as I placed candy in the basket.
"We have movies at the house," I said pushing the basket farther down the aisle.
"But we've watched all of them," she said looking at some candy then putting it in the basket.
