Yesterday in Miss Lewis's class when Aiden walked in, he looked like a guy who doesn't really like to talk.
Boy was I right.
His dark green, almost brown eyes scanned the room until they reached me. I don't know why but suddenly I felt the need to talk to him.
So, when Miss Lewis made him my partner, I was elated. I don't know if he likes me because he doesn't say much but he definitely plays with my hands and fingers.

Yesterday when I introduced him to my besties, they seemed surprised. Not because I made a friend. No, not that at all. But because I made a friend with someone like him. their words not mine.
I don't understand what they mean by someone like him.

Maybe he just doesn't like to talk to people because something happened to him in the past or he is still living through it. I could never assume what someone is going through.
I remember when I barely talked to anyone.
It's not fun to be by yourself in a world with 7.9 billion people just roaming around. It's also not fun being picked on or talked bad about. Many people don't notice the effect their words do. It can be so ingrained into someone's mind to the point where they don't think they can live without them or being told otherwise. Those same words can cause many breakdowns to a person, where they get accustomed to those breakdowns.
Many people think they can go alone living on this planet we call earth. There's no possible way you can though. No matter how far that person is or how close they are, everyone needs a support system.
For me, that would be my dad. He is my hero. He is everything everyone else couldn't be. He was there for me in the hardest part of my life so far. He saved me from the place I called home. I know that he will always be there for me. Even if we are miles away or only minutes away, he is still that person I can confide in. He is that one person in the whole 7.9 billion people that saved me.
Maybe Aiden will find his person.
I really find this life difficult. Honestly, I can't do anything other than help others.
Aiden's' friends will start school today. I wonder if they will like me or my friends.
