"Tell me everything!"

Was the first thing I hear walking in through my front door. Three people standing in front of me, with massive grins.

"What are you talking about?" Looking around the entryway.

Sunlight streamed through the windows making the house more alive. Photos filled with light and color decorated the walls. The small stand next to the door, holding a key bowl and bright flowers.

"You don't know what we're talking about? You don't know? Girl, what's not clinking?" Archie pops out a hip, placing his hand on it.

I stare at them, not knowing what to do. "Come on, spill." Willow rotated her wrist in a 'hurry up' gesture.

"About yesterday?" I rock on my heels, putting my hands behind my back.

"Oh my, yes!" Layla puts her hand on her forehead.

"Well... it was fun and nice." I smile back thinking about how sweet Aiden was. He's a total softie, whether he knows it or not.

"Stop stalling, details woman." Archie groans, throwing his head back before looking back at me.

"We had a picnic. It was absolutely beautiful. There were flowers of every assorted color. I thought he was going to murder me but apparently not. Then he read to me, and we watched the sunset, but not really. Then he surprised me with, I don't know how to call it, but it was a bunch of fairy lights outside. The trampoline had blankets and pillows. We cuddle and stargazed. It was awesome. Oh also, I have a boyfriend now." I draw in a deep breath, finishing my rant.

I stare at them with risen eyebrows. They seem frozen in place, mouth agape and eyes wide.

I think I broke them.

My eyes travel to the sides of the room, awkwardly.

They are broken.

"What!"

"That's so romantic!"

"Cute." I take my previous statement back.

"You have a boyfriend? Who is it?" Layla's eyebrows scrunch as she looks at me suspiciously.

Is she serious?

My head jerks back as I hesitate to answer. "Layla, what?" I shake my head appalled. Willow and Archie turn to look at Layla not believing her. I'm deeply disappointed at the moment.

"Oh," she drags out the word, as her face morphs from confusion to realization. That took a while.

"Yeah," I nod. Who else would be my boyfriend.

Woah that sounds weird.

Aiden my boyfriend. I feel myself feeling giddy at the thought.

"Shit, I owe Elijah money." Willow curses, crossing her arms irritated.

"What do- you bet on us?" I stop myself mid-sentence shocked at this revelation.

"What?! No!" Willow shook her head denying her prior announcement.

"But you just said so," Layla reminds everyone.

"Alright, so we did make a bet, but it was his idea. You can't blame me." Willow shook her head. This is one of those moments where I just don't know what to do.

"How much money did you bet?" I hope it wasn't something big.

"Oh, don't worry. It was only twenty bucks." Willow shook her head nonchalantly. It's not much.
