Three letters have been sent in the course of three weeks.

Every single one of the letters come with some sort of threat towards Juliet and a picture of her. These pictures are always when I'm around though.

I always end up in the picture as well. This week's picture came with a 'x' on Juliet's face.

Fuck, I don't know what to do. I feel useless. I don't know where to start or what to look for.

This person coming for Juliet knows what their doing and how to do it. Juliet seems to be catching onto my behavior. I don't want her to worry about this.

Juliet says that communication is key in a relationship, and I believe her, but she shouldn't have to worry about this at all. I need to take care of this soon.

I want to keep Juliet in my back pocket forever. I want her in my arms where she'll be safe. Where she doesn't need to bother about anything.

That's the way it should be.

She should be living her best life, there possibly is. I look at the shit ton of paperwork in front of me. Stacks of paper sit on my desk, taunting me.

I glance at the tub of cookies mom brought me. The lids is still closed, but I just want to reach out and eat it all. My eyes travel from the cookies to the papers and back.

Deciding what I want, I lean back. Why is this so hard? It's just cookies and papers.

If Juliet was here, she would have gone for the cookies the second she would have seen them. She wouldn't hesitate on eating them all.
Probably would only let me have one.

A grin makes its way to my face thinking about her. I don't know what I would do without her. I sigh pushing the cookies away and grab one stack of paperwork and start reading it.

Blah, blah, blah... sign here.

I grab a pen from the pencil holder Juliet got me. It says best boyfriend in the world.

Fuck, yes, I am.

I sign at the bottom of the page, flipping it over and doing the same thing to the back. Smaller gangs want to be in an alliance and try to offer women.

I don't make alliances with gangs that sex traffic or disrespect women. Its just the way I was raised. Instead, I write them an email, explaining why I'm not going to make an alliance with them.

The gang leader usually changes their ways of getting their income. If I have all this power as one of the best gangs, I might as well use it for something good. If these gangs go back to their old habits, I usually give them a warning before I take matters into my own hands.

Mila would be so proud right now. Juliet said she wishes she could have met her. I wish Juliet would have met Mila too. Mila would have liked her.

I smile and continue my work. Occasionally I glance at the cookies, holding myself back until I'm done.

I'm in the middle of an email when my door opens. I finish typing my sentence before looking up from the laptop. A small head with brown hair and green eyes pops in between a crack big enough for her head.

"Your busy?" Juliet smiles, questioning.

"Yeah but come here." I wave her over.

Juliet shakes her head, "No, you need to focus." She disagrees with me.

"C'mere, you can sit on my lap until I'm done working." I scoot the chair back, patting my thigh. Juliet's eyes narrow for a second before nodding.
