*Nicole's POV*

        I waited for the guys to grab their bags before I followed them into the house. It was dark and quiet. "Home sweet home!" Jake yelled causing a bunch of people to emerge from behind every corner and piece of furniture, yelling "Welcome home!" I jumped back and the guys just laughed.

         A group of 6 girls ran up to me. "I'm Tara!" The shortest one wrapped me into a tight hug. "You are Jake's girlfriend." I responded smiling. "That's me." She answered back with a warm smile. "Kat?" I asked the girl with pink hair. She nodded. "It's nice to finally meet you!" She yelled and opened her arms for a hug. "You are prettier in person." I responded hugging her. "You are too nice!" She responded.

        "I'm Devyn." A brunette said stepping closer to me. "You are Corey's Ex?" I asked causing a smile to appear on her face. "That's me." She said back. "It's nice to meet you." I smiled at her. "I'm Amber!" Another brunette said happily. "Hi, I don't know much about you, but I do know that the guys say we will get along great." I said with a slight laugh.

           "I'm Xepher." A tall intimating woman said waving. I smiled shyly, "You are so intimidating." I blurted. "You are so unique, that is. But it works on you. You are beautiful." I spoke again. She laughed a little, "Dude you are so pretty, you are the intimating one." She replied causing me to giggle a little, and shake my head no to her. "Hi, I'm Cas." Cassie said making me and her laugh. "Hi Cas, I'm Nick." I replied hugging my old best friend.

"Am I missing something?" Tara asked. "Me and her go way back. We were best friends since birth." Cassie answered all the funny looks we were getting from the girls.

"Can I get everyone's attention?" Jake yelled over all the conversations as the guys stood next to him. "Munchkin? Can you come here?" Jake asked. I slowly made my way over to the guys. "This is Nicole! She's our new roommate!" Colby said smiling wide. "Let's give her a big, and warm welcome!" Corey said placing his hand on my shoulder. The crowd of people cheered, most of them having their cameras out.

"Okay. Go back to chilling." Jake yelled. The conversations started again. "Nicole? Come here!" A group of guys said, I could only recognize Reggie. "I'm Aryia." One of the men said. "Nice to meet you. You sing correct?" I asked. "I do." He smiled. "I'm Kevin." The guy next to Aryia said. "Nice to meet you. You have the same name as my brother, but no one calls him Kevin." I said back smiling.

"Munchkin!" Colby called interrupting my conversation with the "KRAC house". "If you will excuse me, I will talk to you guys later." I said smiling at them then walking away. "I want you to meet someone!" Colby said wrapping his arm around my shoulder sloppily. I looked up at him confused. He was drunk.

"This is Kian and Jc, and Elton." He said squeezing me close to him. "Nice to meet you. Kian and Jc are the ones who did the competition and colab with you and Sam?" I asked Colby and he nodded proudly. "And Elton, you used to live with the guys?" I asked. "Everyone but Jake." He responded. I smiled at him, "I'm going to get a drink." I said forcing myself out of Colby's grip.

"Are you okay?" Jake asked with Tara clung to his side. I slowly and quietly nodded. "What's wrong?" Tara asked as a tear slipped down my face. "Hey?" Jake asked in a soothing tone. "Can I talk to you guys outside?" I breathed. They nodded and lead me out of the door. "I don't want to ruin anyone's buzz or the night for anyone, but I'm still dealing with the trauma of substance abuse." I explained.

"I don't think I can handle the smell of alcohol at the moment nonetheless hangout with people that are drunk." I confided into them. "Okay. I will let Sam know, then we will show you to your room." Jake said flashing a sympathetic smile towards me. "I'll stay here with you." Tara said wrapping her arm around my side. Me and Tara are around the same height so I placed my head on her shoulder. Tears silently fell from my eyes, Tara just hugged me.

The girls came outside to us, "Nicky. We want to show you something." Kat said causing me to look up. "When we found out you were living here we wanted your bedroom to be all set up." Devyn continued. I looked around at the girls confused. In the background though, I saw the guys kicking people out of their... our home. "Thank you." I cried. "Come! Follow us!" Amber said excitedly.

I followed the girls inside. The house was empty once we reached the top of the stairs. The guys came running behind us as we approached a white door. "Oh! Hold on a second!" Kat said as Cassie covered my eyes. I heard the door open and then someone guided me into the room. "On 3" Sam said excitedly.

"1" they counted down

"3! Look!" They all yelled as Cassie took her hands away from my face. My jaw dropped. The room was large. There was a queen sized bed with a chandelier hanging above it. A medium sized TV sat on a fake mantle across from the bed. Next to the bed there was a lounge area with a small couch on one end of the room and a desk with a computer and other office supplies on the other end.

"Oh my god!" I yelled as I turned to my new friends. "But wait there is more!" Jake yelled smiling. He turned the lights off and grabbed a small remote. "You ready?" He asked. I nodded with a click of a button the room filled with colors.
