"Damn. Girl can cook!" Jake said his mouth full of food. I smiled at the guys sitting at the island eating. "Are you gonna eat?" Kev asked. "I'm not hungry." I smiled at him. Corey looked up from his plate concerned. "What?" I asked laughing a bit. "I'm not in the mood to eat." I said defensively.

Kev did his eyebrow thing as I got a call. "I gotta take this." I said pointing my pointer finger up to tell them to give me a moment. I walked out of the room. "Hello?" I answered. "Hello. Miss Glen. I am detective Winchester. I'm investigating the deaths of Mr. and Mrs. Helter. Is there a way you can come into the station?" The man spoke.

"Yeah. My brother came into town last night after we found out. Would you want to speak to him too?" I asked. I leaned against the wall and slid down. "That would be amazing. Can you get here around 11:30?" He asked. "Yeah. We will be there." I hung up and sat there for a while.

"We have to go down to the police station in a hour." I said looking at Kev who was standing in front of me. He nodded then reached his hand out to me. "Let's go for a walk?" He asked. I nodded and took his hand, hoisting myself up. "We will be back. We are going to take a walk." Kev said turning to the guys as I raked my hand through my hair.

"Okay. Are you okay?" Corey asked. I didn't turn to look at them I just nodded and walked out. "She will be okay. She's just stressed." He explained to the guys in a soft tone. Kev followed me out the door and once the closed I cried. I cried harder than I ever have.

"We have to tell Steven." I said between cries. "I know." He cooed. "I have to get their shit out of that house." I said while Kev just held me. "I have to bury them. I have to tell Grandma. I have to tell Patric's kid." I cried. I cried for about half an hour. We stayed outside the door to our room.

I heard the door handle move so I put my back to it so who ever came out couldn't see me. "Oh. Uh." Jake stammered seeing my body shake from my tears. He turned me around and hugged me. I didn't let go for a while, "thank you" I whispered once I stopped sobbing. He let go and I wiped my eyes. "Ready to go inside?" Kev asked. I nodded and opened the door.

I quietly and quickly got clothing out for the day and went into the bathroom to change. "Is she okay?" Sam asked. "She cared about them even though they hurt her. She is also worried about their friends and family more than she is herself." I heard Kev say.

"Jake are you okay?" Colby asked. "Uh. Yeah. It's just I've never seen someone cry so hard. It actually made me cry." Jake responded making me frown. I was still in the bathroom. I stood in front of the mirror and watched as silent tears fell from my face.

"Nicky you almost done?" Colby asked knocking on the door. I took a deep breath and sniffled a little. "Yeah. I'll be out in a moment." I responded trying hard not to let my voice crack. I splashed cold water on my face and took a couple more deep breaths.

When I walked out all of the guys were dressed. "What are you guys doing today?" I painted a smile on my face. "Supporting you." Sam said. I frowned again trying my hardest not to cry again. "Thank you." I whispered. Kev lead me out the door.

"I'll meet you guys there." Kev said getting into his rental car. "Munchkin your gonna ride with them cause I'm going to be smoking." He continued. I nodded silently. Sam got in the driver's seat and the rest of the guys got into the back so I could sit up front.

The car ride was quiet but it was filled with sympathy. "Please be normal. I can't stand this type of silence." I said making Corey jump. Sam laughed a little, "pick the music." He said handing me the aux cord with the adapter on it.

I played some Flo-Rida, Pitbul, Ke$ha, and a bunch of 2010s hits. The car quickly got loud with the guys screaming the lyrics. I just smiled as they enjoyed the time.

"We will be in the waiting area for you." Colby said smiling at me kissing me on the forehead. The rest of the guys gave me big hugs. "You guys are the best." The detective asked a bunch of questions like why I left and how long ago. He asked Kev what they were like, they wanted to know about the personality of my guardians.

"Patric has a son, he is autistic and rarely spent time with his father. I have another brother. Steven Butler. He lives around here. I will call him if you want." I said to the young officer. He gently grabbed my shoulder and looked me in the eyes, "take a deep breath. Worry about yourself for a moment." He flashed a small smile and nodded. I took a breath and nodded.

"I'm okay. I'm safe. I just want everyone to be okay." I said looking into his bright green eyes. "I understand that feeling." He said, "You can go call your brother. We don't need to talk to Patric's son." He nodded and left the room. I called my brother and stayed in the room building up the courage to talk to my brother. When I walked out of the room I saw a tall man getting aggravated at the officers.
