Chapter 5: Saphire

Blackfoot's POV

"Hey Storm" Mandi said as I past her on the fence. I stopped and laid down.

"Morning Mandi" I said streching.

"You hungry?"

I shook my head, "Not really, how are you?"

The dark tabby gray she-cat jumped up onto the fence with me, "Good, how are Tangle and Claw?" She asked.

"There good."

After a moment of silence I stood up, "Well I better get back to my walk" I said.

"Okay bye" Mandi said and jumped down.

I watched her go then continued. Nutmeg was lying in her yard and Smudge was inside his den. When I past Princess place strangly she wasn't outside.

I wonder were she is? I thought.

As I walked down the Twolegplace, Before I realized where I was. I was near Saphire's place.

Maybe I should see how she is, we got off to a wrong start last time.

I jumped up into the Twoleg Dump where they lived. Cats started to appear and hiss at me.

I did nothing but headed towards the place where I met Mowgli and Snag. Sure enough they were there.

"Hey Mowgli! Snag!" I called to them.

They looked up at me, "Blackfoot!" Mowgli seemed happy to see me.

"I thought Saphire scared you off" Snag chuckled.

That made me laugh, "Not yet, anyways last time we got off to a wrong start, so do you know where she is?"

"Right here" her calm deep voice said from behind.

I turned around and she was there, I held back a gasp, first time I saw here she had two eyes. Now she only had one.

Her right was torn off, but she didn't seem to mind.

"Looks like you got into a fight with someone" a purr rumbled in her throat.

I guess she was talking about my eye, Brokenstar gave me a bunch of scars over my right eye.

"Yea, looks like you did too."

She licked her paw and jumped down, "Come to start over?" She asked.

I nodded, "If you want to."

She looked at me for a bit, then nodded, "Alright, so where is Tanglefur" Saphire asked.

"It's Tangleburr, and she's with my other friends, Clawface, Stumpytail, Boulder and Brokenstar."

Mowgli caught on to the names, "You guys are all named after the way you look huh?"

I nodded.

"Like the forest cats" a gray tom sneered.

I looked at the tom, "I am- was a forest cat."

He looked at me suprise Saphire, Mowgli and Snag were too. Just then the gray tom bared his teeth, "Saphire drive him out! Forest cats always cause trouble!"

I looked at the white she-cat, "Why did you and your group come into the Twolegplace?" She ordered.

"I would rather not talk about it" I said defently.

"Because he did something bad! Forest Cats always do bad things" the gray tom snarled.

More cats joined in, "Yea!"

"Their all trouble!"

"They steal prey!"

"Drive him out!"

"Drive them all out!"

"Forest Cats are murders!"

Suddenly I felt something snap inside me.

"Silence!" I roared.

Everyone was silent.

"We are Clan cats" I started.

"But we are Not murders, we will not steal your prey and we are Not trouble!"

All the cats looked at each other, and I looked at Saphire. She gave me a nod, "Show them who's boss" she whispered.

"My friends will wonder where I am, I need to go home" I said.

Mowgli nodded, "Come vist us again!" He smiled.

"Or maybe you can come vist us" I said to them.

"Great idea" Snag said.

"Bye!"

I hope this was longer then the last one. Anyways I know Saphire is spelt Sapphire but I like my way better. So don't give me crap that it's spelt wrong please:-)
