We came into his office."The dance...It was great.I uhm...I missed dancing with you."He scoffed."SHUT UP!"Then he kissed me."I thought we were going to talk."

"I said shut up.Didn't I?""You did,sorry."I kissed him back.He picked me up and slammed me to the wall behind me."I'm still on birth control,by the way."He bit my neck."That's my good girl."

He pushed himself inside me and I moaned in pleasure."Keep going,baby."I kept moaning with every thrust as he told me to.Right when I reached my high,he hit that one spot.

He and I came at the same time.Even then,he didn't stop.He took my dress off as I took his shirt off.I missed his naked skin on mine.The feeling he gave me at every moment I spent with him...

Next morning,I woke up with my phone ringing.I took out my pill and swallowed it with whiskey.After I did that,I answered."Yes?"I got Roman's shirt and wore it over me.

"Bambina,I was hoping you would text me by now about Roman and Luca's meals but...What should I cook to Armani?That is more urgent."I sighed.

"Last night,he ate veggies so...I'm going to go with...Chicken wings.Don't fry them.Just put them in the oven after seasoning it with mint and not spicy red pepper.He loves it."

"Great.Thanks.About the other thing,we still haven't talked.I'll text you later.Thanks again,mom."Then Roman woke up."I knew it!I FUCKING KNEW IT!SHE LEFT AG-"

"I'm here."His eyes found me."I just had to take a call.That's it."I went over to him and got down on my knees as he sat down at the edge of his couch.

"Roman,I need you to know that I forgave you years ago.But I couldn't come.And when I could come...I was terrified.I was scared you didn't love me anymore."

"I've loved you since you were born.Dammit,Adele,where the hell were you?!Why didn't you come earlier?!What stopped you?!Who is Armani?!How the fuck couldn't I find you?!"

I smiled."All of those has an answer."He sighed."I'm sorry I lied and kept things from you."I rested my head on his knee."I'm sorry I broke my promise and left you again.For five year,exactly."

"Where were you,amore?""Let's have dinner tonight,huh?What do you say?Because I need to go back home.And your mom needs to rest."

"My mother?"I nodded."Your mom has been helping me for a while now.If it wasn't her,I never would've found the courage to show up last night.You should thank her."

I changed back into my dress."Drop me off?So you know I'm not leaving?Or ditching you?"He nodded and drove me to Damien's place."Before I get out of the car,I need you to know something."

"What?""I love you even more than I ever did.Every day it got harder and harder to be without you.I thought I could do it and after a while,I had to do it.I had to learn how to live without you."

"But why?""Tonight.Let's skip dinner.Pick me up around 9."I got out of the car and got into the house.I locked the door behind me."MOMMY!"

"My big boy!"I picked him up."Can I meet my daddy now?"I shook my head."Things didn't go as planned,baby.I'm afraid I couldn't talk to him.We're going out to have a chat with him tonight."

"Tomorrow?""I'm not promising anything.We'll see,alright?"He nodded."Nonna made me chicken but it tasted weird.Don't tell her.I don't want her to get upset."

"I won't tell her.Did you eat your chicken?"He nodded."I saved you a bone."He ran inside and came with a wing bone."Let's make a wish,mommy."

I wished for him to be happy with Roman and I."What did you wish,baby?""I wished for daddy to take you back and want me too.And I got the bigger side!My wish will come true!"

He started running around.I took a shower and spent the rest of the day with him until I tucked him in.Nora came back at nine."Roman brought me here."

"I told him you were helping me out and he doesn't know that you are also helping me out with Armani.He only knows that you helped me emotionally throughout this period."

"He's mad."I nodded."Thanks for the warning.He's asleep.I'll try to come back tonight.I will try my best.And if he takes it well,we might come back togather."

"I hope he takes it well and you show up togather.""Hopefully."I left and then got in Roman's car."Why can't I come inside?"I sighed."I have a really good reason for that."

"Your new boyfriend?!Or should I call him husband?!I don't know how you did it but seems to me that you got remarried."I saw the ring on my finger.

"This is not a wedding band,Roman."I giggled as I remembered how Luca chose this for me."Oh...My sweet Luca."He scoffed."You have an Armani necklace and a tattoo!Who is Luca?!"

"Drive,Roman,you will need a drink.My choice of place wouldn't be somewhere loud."He drove and we came to his club.It was emptied out.

"Don't pour whiskey."I had watched this YouTube video.This guy was making a drink called 'Ajax Punch' which is weird because it is Roman's middle name!

I started making that for the both of us."I put four times more white rum than the recipe gives.It might seem a little sweet because of the watermelons but with lemon juice,it's balances itself."

I gave him his drink and put a straw in mine."What do you think?"He rolled his eyes."You know the answer.You don't need my confirmation."I nodded."I know.This was the reaction I was going for."

"Stop stalling!""Finish that one,have a bottle of whiskey and you might be a little ready for what I'm going to tell you."

"You're married,you moved on.You cheated on him with me.Make it short!I have a lawyer to talk to."

"Actually...I left you five years ago.Found out I was pregnant after three months and Armani is the same person with Luca.Armani Luca Moretti being his full name,he is our son.How about that?!"
