That One Night

I was sitting on the bed they had in this cell and I waited for the guards to finally be distracted or asleep.Even better,gone.I took out the bobby pin in my hair,that holds my baby hairs.

I unlocked the cell and made a run for it until I bumped into Bruno and Jeremiah."LET ME GO!"Then the big door busted open.Distraction was good and I ran at Roman as he walked in.

"I'm sorry.I am so fucking sorry."I tugged onto him and hugged his neck so tight as I cried."Don't leave me again,please!Damien went mad!He thinks you drugged me!You wouldn't hurt me!"

We got in his car as his men start to retreat from the mansion they got me out of.His driver started driving as we settled at the back seat."I would never,NEVER hurt you,tesoro."

I nodded as I curled up into a ball on his lap."Where are we going,boss?Penthouse won't be safe."He looked down at me."Where do you want to go,tesoro?"

"Away.I thought they were my friends.None of them tried to understand me."He turned to his driver."To the penthouse.We'll leave for the hangar tomorrow."His driver nodded and drove.

We came to the penthouse.He put me down on the ground as we walked into the elevator and stopped it mid-way."What happened?"I didn't know how to speak.I just couldn't!

"I'm repeating myself only because you went through something.What happened,Adele?"I took a deep breath."They locked me up in a cell with a bed.Anastasia came to take my blood."

"Blood?!Why?!""They thought you drugged me.She said that she had to tell him about what happened 20 and 10 years ago.He knows and he's more lunatic than ever.And that's scary."

He raised his hand as he had mine inside his,he kissed it and looked down at me."You don't have to be scared of anything!I mean,anything!I'm not leaving your side again."

He restarted the elevator and we came to the penthouse."Why did we come back here?""So you can pack like you enjoy after a rough night like this."I smiled through the tears and wiped them away.

"Can you pack with me?I don't want to be alone."He and I packed our own suitcases together."Can I open some music?"He nodded."That's only if you sing."I nodded."I guess,I can."

Now that it was just for him,it felt weird.Not in a bad way,though.I opened the music and put it on one side so I can remember the lyrics.I sang along as I listened.

He started sitting and watching after a while.I didn't realize it until I was done packing."How did you pack so fast?""You see,piccolo,I only took a few things.You took a bunch."

I sighed."I would roll my eyes but you don't allow me to do that."He smiled.HE SMILED?!Hold on!I took a picture right away."Why did you take my picture?""You smiled."I said as I smiled widely.

"Well,my baby know who she belongs to and goes by her rules.Can't I be proud?"I shrugged."You tell me.Are you proud?"He nodded."Very.Now,change so we can go to the hangar."

He handed me some fancy clothes."You don't like it when I wear revealing things.That's why you choose my clothes.Why these?"He turned back and leaned to my eye level.

"Because you asked really nicely,it's so you can stand out of the crowd I'm taking you to."I looked down at them."Ok."I headed to the bathroom and he pulled me back."I'm front of me."

I started changing as I sat on the bed."La tortura più dolce di sempre."(Sweetest torture ever.)I rolled over at the bed and laid on my stomache.

"Puoi sempre cedere alla voglia."(You can always give into the urge.)"You won't like it when I do things to you that you aren't ready for.So,I can't.Tempting but I can't."

I poured before I kept on changing into the outfit he gave me.It was a matching black set.An off shoulder top and its high waisted pants.Which was something I would wear on a daily basis.

I wore black six inch stilettos with red base.A little black clutch bag in hand...I looked like I was ready to take over the world.He stood up as I came out of the bathroom with my hair and make up.

"You said stand out."He smirked."Continue.I won't get mad."I smirked back."You said stand out but you forgot one thing...I always stand out."His arm snaked his way around my waist.

"Rules about your protection stands still.But the rest is bullshit.I want you to be who you are when we land."I nodded."When we land or from now on?There is a big difference."

"Now on.I missed this you."I smiled as I started blushing.I covered my face with my hands as I put my bottom lip."Don't hide the redness.I like that I can make you blush like that."

We left and I felt no difference.Obeying him with all or some of the rules...They both felt the same.I didn't feel as if he was trying to change me,I never felt that way with him.

He likes the way I am and I like that."I forgot to ask.Where are we going?"He turned to me."To where we met."I smiled."Well,can I sit next to you?"He gave me a nod.It was enough.

I felt all giddy and cheeky when I sat down on his lap."Roman?""Yes?"I sighed."You don't mind that I'm getting a bit too clingy,do you?"He got mad at me."If you think that,so wrong!"

He said it sternly without raising his voice too much."I don't think that you think that.I just wanted to make sure.""You can never be too clingy to me.Got it,tesoro?"

I nodded and fell asleep on him as the flight took 14 hours!
