We gotta stop fighting people.

I ended up getting dragged along with Seeley and Temperance which I didn't mind since it got me out of doing that talking thing longer.
"Polina and Carl separated three months ago, separated addresses for Mom and Dad." Temperance stated.
"Seems mother dearest and daddy dearest fell out of love." I told as I went over some of the photos and circled the ones I thought would work.
"Well we know that Mom is in a drawer back in your lab. Lets go find Dad." Seeley told.
"I'm great at finding people if I wanted to. Zack and Jack won't let me be the seeker anymore if we played a game of hide and seek."
"Who did you find first?"
"Jack mostly. Just to piss him off."
"Arrest someone really small lately?" Temperance asked pointing to the car seat next to me. "Car seat in back?"
"I had Parker for the weekend"
"Cute." I stated before circling two more.
"I don't know how you do that." She stated
"Install a car seat in an F.B.I. vehicle?" He asked
"Don't think it was that fed." I told making him give a confused look in the mirror to me. "I think it's a lovely nickname, but I could call you Shooter as well if that's better."
"Bring a kid into this world, knowing what you know. I'll bet Parker was an accident, right? Because his mother wouldn't marry you? What?" She questioned once she realised he looked annoyed.
"It never occurred to you that might be a sensitive topic?"
"Well, you could've gone with the very small felon story." She told
"It's better for Parker being in the world someday you will see that."
"I won't."
'This feels weird being here for this.'
"You'll change your mind."
"I don't do that."
"You will."
"Yeah, maybe after I see how Decker reacts when you tell him his wife is dead and his child has been kidnapped."
"Well statistically speaking, we're gonna find Donovan with his dad."
"Shooter makes a fair point." I added
"What? Why?"
"Because most kidnappings happen by estranged spouses."
"Kinda like how if a husband or wife dies it's usually the significant other."
"You're certainly making the whole domestic scene more and more attractive." She told.
"What's your view on kids Ashley?"
"Love 'em. I plan to have kids in the future once I find the right person."
"You don't think Shawn is a good fit for that?" Temperance asked.
"After he grows up a little more then of course. I mean I helped raise Tyler and Flynn when me and Peter were younger. We were basically their parents till Billy came into the picture since Henry couldn't help us anymore."
"I understand the whole dad is a dead beat but what about your mother?" Seeley asked.
"She was busy a lot. Doctor and everything."
"Who's Henry?" Temperance questioned.
"Shawns dad. Was kinda the first father figure I ever had. He helped raise us till we left Santa Barbara." I explained.
"That was nice of him."
"Yeah it was. Miss him a lot every now and then."
'I really don't want to do that interview thingy.'

We were walking up to the house and I could tell someone watch watching us.
'This isn't good.'
"This is it?" Temperance questioned.
"Yea. This is the correct address. You just hang back and let me do all the talking. Okay?" He told before knocking on the door but it looked like he didn't for a second or two as he motioned for us to hang back. "Mr. Decker!"
We both noticed Temperance heading for the window to look in and I turned to the street when I noticed a car and people watching us in that, but didn't make it known to them that I saw them.
'This is not good.'
"Bones, what are you doing?"
"What?" She asked before looking in the window. "Oh, it's tidy, Spartan even. Is that normal for a recently separated man?" She asked and I turned my back to them before shooting a signal to Seeley about the car.
"Guy's supposed to be some super-rational, tight-ass Geek." He told before looking around and seeing the car as well. "No offense."
"There's no TV, no magazines, no art, no stereo." She told making him signal me for us both to head towards the car. "There's dust on everything. I don't think he's been here in a while."
We start of slow to not draw suspicion towards us when Temperance finally noticed we weren't with her anymore.
"Where are you going? Booth? Ashley? Where are you going?" She exclaimed as she rushed after us.
We heard the engine start making Seeley do a jog as he reached for his gun and I grabbed mine as well as I did a faster jog then him.
"Son of a bitch!" He exclaimed before breaking the driver side window with the butt of his gun.
"Remind me of an ex when you said that." I stated as me and Temperance came up on the back of the vehicle.
As on que another man tried to exit through the back window making her grab him and throw him to the ground and I grabbed the gun from my ankle to point to the man on the ground and the other one in the back at the same time. Seeley pulled the driver out of the seat and onto the ground putting his gun on him.
"F.B.I.!" Seeley exclaimed.
"P.I.!" I added before they all pulled a gun onto us all.
"U.S. Marshals!" The driver exclaimed
"U.S. Marshals?" Both me and Seeley questioned at the same time.
"Forensic Anthropologist! That's why no gun." Temperance told as she held her hands in the air.
"We gotta stop getting into these situations." I told.
