Knew something was gonna go wrong.

I was looking over the x-rays of John Doe 361 with Zack. We ended up getting them scanned into the computer so we could use the monitor to look at them, while Angie was behind us with the original scans. Which lead us to calling Temperance.
"Brennan."
"Regarding the X-rays of John Doe 361." Zack began only to stop when Doc spoke.
"John Doe 361?" She questioned.
"Yes. You sent his X-rays." He stated.
"I don't remember that." She admitted making us turn to the phone, due to us being perplexed by her answer.
"You don't remember?" Zack asked.
"Someone put a voodoo curse on ya or somethin' doc?"
"What about the X-rays, Zack?" She questioned avoiding the topic.
'Weird.'
"Male." Zack told before I continued.
"Late 40's. Mixed race." I told before Zack took over again.
"Anomalies on his spine which I'm looking into. But the point is, his death was not accidental."
"I sent you the X-rays of a murder victim?" She asked
"Definitely Doc. You sure you are ok Temperance? You don't forget these things, and I know forgetfulness, I forget to take my medication. I did it this week." I told with the last part mostly being for Zack due to him not liking it when I do forget.
"How'd he die?" Seeley asked making me confused but Angie perked up at hearing his voice, causing her to turn towards the speakerphone.
"Is that Booth?" She asked
"Yes." Temperance told making Angie smile.
"You're hopping the Streetcar Named Desire with Booth?" She asked before looking towards me and Zack. "Oh, I love this."
"Obviously, they're working the murder of John Doe 361 together." Zack told making me mouth don't to Angie so she didn't confuse his mind too much.
"Precisely." Doc told.
'M'kay. Feel like there's another reason he is there if she forgot about said murder victim.'
"How did 361 die?" Doc asked to get us back on track.
"The pelvis shows crush fractures. There's also what appears to be a bullet hole in the skull, but there's no exit wound." Zack explained.
"So something hit the vic first, and then to finish them off shot in de head. It's what I think at least."
"Okay, keep working on it." She told before the familiar hanging up noise could be heard.
Zack gave a nod to that order like she could see it before turning back to focus on the computer and the x-rays.
'Strange boy he is. But I love spending time with him.'

After awhile of looking at the x-rays, we were able to come up with more to give to Temperance and Seeley. So that's what we did, we called the good doctor.... But we had obviously interrupted something.
"Brennan." She told before Seeley could be heard.
"Jesus is not a zombie. All right? Man. I shouldn't have to tell you that."
'Da fuck?!'
"On John Doe 361 there's a narrowing of the disk space on L2 and L3." Zack explained.
"Congenital?"
"Unclear. Extensive injuries consistent with a body being thrown around by a flood." He told
"Which makes sense, due to the hurricane causing floods." I stated.
"Cross reference what you know so far with the DMORT records of missing Katrina victims." She told before Angie spoke up.
"Hey, Brennan?" She asked as she took a step closer to speak into the speakerphone. "Why haven't you come home?"
"Pretty soon, Ange." She stated.
"Doc, that isn't an answer to why, just when." I told.
"Is Booth there socially?" Angie asked and I knew what she was thinking.
"No, of course, not."
"All right, what's going on?" She asked before we were greeted with Seeley's voice again, but much closer this time.
"Okay, Bones has amnesia because a voodoo murderer put a spell on her to keep her from solving the murder of John Doe 361." He told and while I believed it, Angie and Zack did not.
'Makes sense to not remembering then.'
"That's a huge supposition." Temperance told as she got the phone back.
"That's fine if you don't want to tell me." Angie told in disbelief.
"Don't worry guys. I believe you!" I told before Zack hung the phone up.
"Ah. Voodoo amnesia. It's a good one." Zack told.
'Sometimes it's difficult being around people who don't believe in what I do.... Makes me wish I was travelling with Shotgun again.'
"Mm-hmm. It's great. Brennan's fighting zombies in New Orleans and we're stuck here." Angie added.
"Y'all make fun. But I believe Voodoo might have actually been involved."
"That's right. Your father Christopher is from New Orleans."
"Your father is name Christopher?" Zack asked
"Oh right confusion. He's my adoptive father due to me and my siblings going into Billy's care, and Christopher adopted us incase something happened to Billy." I told
"That makes more sense now."
"Yeah. So we kinda grew up around the whole voodoo world." I added making him pull his thinking face.
'No wonder my family loved Shotgun. They bonded over common grounds. I wonder how he's going?'
