"Rise and shine ladies!"

Misty opened our door, which made us jump.

"Misty, what the hell is wrong with you?!" I groaned.

I checked the time... eight in the morning! Who woke up at that time and on a Sunday? Misty had serious problems.

"Time to wake up, do you guys sleep or hibernate? Yeez!" She replied. "I would like to go shopping, I can not spend with this outfit who knows how long."

"Misty, I promise I'll take you wherever you want if you give us one more hour." Wilhemina proposed.

I had slept very well, better than in years, so I started to get out of bed.

"Good morning mom— babe!" I stuttered. I heard a big laugh from Misty.

"Aaahhh! I wish I hadn't heard that!" She exclaimed, covering her ears.

I threw a pillow at Misty, but she stopped it with her powers and threw it back at me... touché.

"Awh! You got stronger, bitch!" I laughed, throwing the pillow back at her, but she stopped it again and threw it to me one more time. I gave up. "Love, we will go to make breakfast, you rest." I talked to my beautiful lady as I kissed her lips, then I closed the door, and walked down with Misty.

"You guys are adorable... but there is something that torments you, do you want to tell your witch friend what it is?" Misty implied once in the kitchen.

Misty knew me so well, her power of divination always made it hard to me to hide things from her.

I put music on my speaker and turned the volume up a little high, but not enough to annoy Wilhemina.

And while Misty was in charge of making breakfast, I told her about the day someone harassed me at the company's anniversary party, and how Wilhemina beat her almost to death, leaving her completely unconscious on the floor, and how I found out she killed her afterwards.

"... they arrested her but Jeff and Mutt paid for her bail and, ugh, she said she did it to protect me and I feel bad because I thought it was so incredible, the way she went crazy for me, but I am terrified to think of what she might become." I concluded.

Misty was silent for a moment, only the music and the sound of the food in the pan could be heard.

"Okay... I would kill mercilessly whoever dares to lay a hand on you, so my respects to Wilhemina for killing that bitch." She spoke after a moment. "It's just... what do you want me to tell you? I've killed a lot of people too and you were never scared!"

True, Misty had killed many hunters who messed with animals, I must admit it was satisfying for me to see them die because they were killing innocent creatures... but it was strange, it was different with Wilhemina.

"But you... it's not the act of killing. That doesn't matter to me, because you killed bad people in order to defend the weak, and she kind of did the same." I tried to explain myself. "But Wilhemina found it satisfying, as if it had given her pleasure, as if she enjoyed it... and not only because she was killing a person who had harassed me, but because she simply liked having control over someone that way."

Misty sighed.

"So you are afraid that she will kill innocent people without justification just because she finds it pleasant? That she will turn into a bad person?" She asked.

"Exactly!" I confirmed.

Misty had perfectly summed up what I was thinking these past few months.
